My brother have been going there for years and he’s just now telling me about this spot! He ordered a teriyaki chicken bowl (love the choice of veggies!!)Spicy Tuna and Super Lobster roll and when I tell you it was some of the best sushi I’ve had in a while! It was sooo good that I had to go grab another order not only for me but my mom, sister, and nephew.lol The customer service was amazing! Super friendly and hard-working staff! This is my new fav spot and I will definitely make sure to stop by every visit to LA!

Got a too good to go from here. Provided two rolls, mostly crab stick. Neither really had any flavor. Took a bite of each and ended up throwing the rest away.

This place use to be pretty good like 5-6 years ago. I recently went and it was pretty gross, flavor was off, tasted old and the avocado in mine was black. I had to throw most of it away which was a shame. For the price it wasn’t worth it, better to pay that price at a better place.

I used a service called “too good to go” which is supposed to be a cheaper way to buy food. They advertised a surprise bag which you don’t know the contents, but you know the price (in my case $30.00 worth of food for $9.99+fees/taxes) and roughly the amount of items could be 4 or 5.
I get to the restaurant, and they just asked me.to confirm it, next they handed me this tiny bag, that contained ONLY two items that amount to 18 dollars! Just too rolls of California rools stuffed with crab meat. It was a disappointment.

Got to good to go for $10 and they gave me some bs, some soup with noodles and some fried cucumbers, it was supposed to healthy and worth more than $30. I could’ve just get a chipotle bowl for couple dollars more. Disappointed!

Filling to rice ratio was solid and it was a very good TooGood2Go within USC’s Fryft zone. Good as a late night snack split with a friend, especially at this price point. The quality was just alright though.

Got delivery from Uber eats and had high expectations when it arrived. The packaging it came it was very nice. Which made it even more disappointing. The tuna sushi was not cut by someone that knows what they are doing. it was sliced in wrong direction and use peices with silver skin. The tuna and salmon also had a fishy taste. Which was also present in the rolls so I’m pretty sure they used fish that was not fresh. The shrimp to batter ratio for shrimp tempura was also off as it was mostly batter. I think the avocado is pre sliced as the one used on my rolls was a thin sliver like it was mean to be used as a topper avocado. The rice was overcooked so the sushi had a mushy and dense texture.

Just had a very strange experience with this restaurant. I ordered via Uber eats and when my order went through I noticed I had unintentionally somehow added 4 spicy tuna rolls and had only meant to order 2. I immediately within about 30 seconds of the order being finalized called the restaurant, I wasn’t hoping for a refund or anything I just simply wanted to change the two extra spicy tuna rolls to literally anything on the menu that was equal or lesser value. Literally anything, of which there were many options. I even asked for just a plain California roll in place which was 5$ cheaper. No. The manager, or supposed manager would not budge on the order even though it had not yet been prepared and had been ordered under one minute prior. She was adamant that the only thing I would be able to review was 4 spicy tuna rolls. This wasn’t a small order either it was an order for owe 100 dollars worth of food before driver tip. I just cannot conceive of any situation that would have made a simple order change (at no cost in price to the restaurant) would have been too much to accommodate for a customer spending over 100 dollars with the establishment. Very poor customer service and now I’m left hoping that my food is intact upon delivery after the “manager” was so incredibly rude on the phone. Don’t be drawn by the 2 for 1 specials there’s better sushi for your buck elsewhere, with maybe the bonus of being treated as though your patronage is valued.

I liked that this place had both musubi and my favorite sushi roll, but it only arrived fresh in my order when I’d get delivery during the week. Anytime I ordered on a Sunday, the food was never fresh. This is the third time the musubi was grey and the ingredients in the sushi were old. The ramen was overcooked and tasted like it had been made a couple of days before. So bummed. When it’s good, it’s great. But after 5-6 times of food with week old ingredients we finally have to give up on this place.

I do not leave reviews, but read them for guidance. I’m leaving this one to save someone time from ordering. NOT good. I’m not a picky sushi eater, but know and appreciate decent and above. The quality of this sushi was so not good. Smelly and suspect grade. I couldn’t finish and picked it apart, I’m not even sure what kinda sushi grade (if even) this is. No lie, gross!
