My wife’s co-worker has always talked about this place. We finally decided to go for our first time…I am a “picky” eater. But this place was AMAZING. We got muscles and sourdough bread for appetizers. For dinner we got the chicken pot pie and the Waygu Ribeye. This was the BEST Ribeye I have EVER had.

Outstanding every, single, time. My wife and I recently celebrated our anniversary there, again. Our wonderful server, Heather who has taken care of us here before, is truly amazing in her table side service and is very knowledgeable with the menu as well. She goes above and beyond every time. The menu is kept limited/curated and the ingredients are local/regional which are both things that great restaurants do.
The staff is friendly and attentive as well.

For years, Oquirrh Restaurant has been my husband’s and my absolute favorite place to eat, and I honestly can’t believe I’m only just now writing a review.
From the moment you walk in, there’s a warmth to the place that makes you feel like you’ve been invited into someone’s home rather than just another restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and thoughtfully curated, which perfectly matches the care they put into their food.
And the food… it’s phenomenal every single time. You can tell that everything is made with intention and quality ingredients. Every dish feels a little special, like it was crafted by someone who genuinely loves what they do. We’ve celebrated so many dinners here over the years, and somehow the experience never gets old.

This restaurant is amazing. The vegetarian menu and meat dishes were great! They brought back the balsamic cherries with zucchini and zucchini bread. It was amazing. The roasted duck breast was great along with the fennel sausage pasta special. The milk braised potatoes is also great too!
The staff was super nice and attentive, also very good in suggestions for food and drink options. The decor is very artsy and there’s lots of local art to be admirer and bought of necessary.

I have been here twice now and was blown away both times. I love that the menu items change with the seasons. The chicken pot pie is delicious, definitely order it if you come in the winter. The food is so fresh and they use high quality ingredients. One of my husband and I’s favorite restaurants in Salt Lake.

Oquirrh absolutely nailed it. I ordered the duck and the steak au poivre (medium rare), and both dishes were cooked to perfection — exactly as expected. The flavors were incredibly rich and well-balanced, and the presentation was just as impressive. The setting was comfortable and elevated without being pretentious, and the service was attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the evening. You can tell there’s a lot of pride in what they do here. This place is a gem in Salt Lake City — I’ll definitely be coming back.
