I have not yet had the pleasure of trying the food but don’t let that turn you away. I’ve been to two shows and the vibes are amazing every time. The bands are awesome and the drinks are delicious. Definitely go, give it a try for a show, a good drink and when you have time come back for some good food!

I had such an incredible experience that I completely forgot to snap a photo of the food, but wow! This all-vegan venue absolutely blew me away. The flavors that emerged from the kitchen were beyond words—just pure deliciousness! And let’s talk about the bands—the energy and atmosphere were truly electric. I even had the pleasure of meeting one of the co-owners, who radiated joy and passion. He shared their mission to spread beautiful music throughout the community, which is simply inspiring. I also took a moment to talk about the music school next door, and I was moved by its essence. I came to support RevFest and left with unforgettable memories. Thank you for a remarkable experience!

I went to Opolis tonight and it was a blast. From what I gather a group of “fascinating and eclectic young individuals” have shown enterpreuneuship and taken ownership of this club in the recent past and are putting together a unique vision into action. This is a good place for entertainment at University of Oklahoma – good people, good times and great experiences.
I was a bit early and got introduced to these owners and it was the begining of the wonderful experience.
– I had the delicious house Pineapple punch with rum which was excellent and just one glass put a “buzz in my turban”
– I got to see the menu and noticed a yummy array of food but did not eat as I had already eaten my dinner! Will be there tomorrow to eat!
– The ambience of the place reflects on the warmth and friendly nature of the ownership! The bar was well stocked and well kept, the premises were very clean and there was a sense of pride in what was being done. The outside patio was very charming!
– The service was impeccable and as I mentioned in the earlier paragraphs there could not be a friendlier place! Thank you Addi, Lane, Eli, Sarah, Ethan and Julius for looking after me so well. You people are going to go places.
To summarize, I had an excellent experience on the above these three categories and I will be going to the dance party on the 3rd!! I strongly recommend this venue for anybody’s entertainment needs and a place to get together with friends!
As far as entertainment- there was an out of state “modern country western band,” Tommy Goodroad and his band, and it was their first gig in Oklahoma. It was excellent stuff played by a very talented band with the artists playing a whole spectrum of originals and cover music.

I have been going to The Opolis since the mid 2000s and am delighted to report that the new ownership is brilliantly holding the torch aloft. The best music venue in Norman, easily. Also everything on the vegan menu is absolutely delicious and, as a sober person, I’m happy they have options for that as well.

Sad “venue” upcharges people under 21 at the door bc they cannot buy alcohol. Doesn’t properly communicate with producers to give guidelines to the bands. Books more than they can handle and do not even follow their own rules. The bartender was vaping inside behind the bar all night, while I sign is posted for the patrons not to vape inside. Try again Opolis.

I find my joy here! Always great music and wonderful , happy people. OPOLIS should always be in your rotation for weekend entertainment! The bartender Adelia is exceptional and knowledgeable and kind.

I love this venue & community space! Opolis is always invested in giving a stage to locals and touring acts that range from just starting out to seasoned well-known artists. Excellent lil venue featuring wonderful local music as well as far ranging bands from around the globe. One of two solid vegan restaurants in Norman. Truly a staple of this area. Lovely all ages aspect to the venue, been coming here since I was 17 and will keep coming in till I’m 117.
