I’ve had rough experiences with Takoyaki BUT theirs is perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside-not saturated in oil-has some sort of soft scrambled egg spread on the bottom that was to die for. I opted for the Aroma Miso (sub minced pork) I personally love a rich bowl with mild spice and WOW it definitely delivered. Noodles had the perfect bite. Not fine dining but just dang good food, can’t wait to return! My cousin had the thai curry (loved as long as you can handle spice) and the Tan Tan which also had 5 stars! Thank you can’t wait to come back!
The pork soup dumplings were small but mighty in flavor I was really impressed with how flavorful they were compared to many dimsum restaurants I’ve been to even that SPECIALIZE in soup dumplings, these hold their ground against some of them if not even a cut above them.
The Omurice was very tasty and fresh. We really liked the tangy gravy served with it. The flavor starts to all blend together but over all, very good.
Our other dish we got was the Pork Katsu with Japanese curry, all of it was great.
I will say over all the entire tables ABSOLUTE favorite were surprisingly the Shishito peppers. Each of us loved them so much we wanted 3 seperate orders, loved the soy tare sauce they were cooked in.
We ended the meal with a Ube Pana cotta which we also loved and devoured.
I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed my meal here. 10/10 would come back again.
I had dinner here on a Monday night. Customer volume was low at the time and the staff was friendly and engaging. The waiter answered my questions capably and understood the menu well.
The karaage showed up hot and cooked beautifully. It was moist and not chewy. While I liked the flavor, I’m accustomed to there being a little gochugaru to give it a more Asian flavor.
The tonkatsu ramen was excellent. Good soft boiled egg. Excellent pork. Fresh scallions & properly boiled noodles. This was a warm hug. I added some spice to it to make it pop, but the umami and savory flavors were perfect.
Ordered the ube panna cotta to finish. It had lots of textures and a range of sweet flavors from each element.
Great experience! Will come back.
I’m not sure how the ramen would be, but unfortunately everything else was disappointing or just ok. the curry was likely just golden curry, could easily make much better at home. Karaage was really tough, not seasoned well. The cheesecake was extremely solid, a poor quality frozen item. The panna cotta was very dense, not very flavorful. I did think that atmosphere was relatively nice, they have one piece everywhere which I love but even though it had just opened the restrooms were dirty.
Overall it was a little bit overhyped but it might be good for tourists in the area.
