A quick and convenient stop off Route 60. The kiosk is self service with reasonable speed. We ordered the grilled and katsu chicken combo. As always, katsu is crispy and juicy and grilled chicken is super tender with a glaze of teriyaki sauce. Highly recommend for a fulfilling meal!

We arrived at 9, figuring we had time since all online options said this location closes at 11. Turns out the inside seating area closes at 9:30. Ordered food and paid cash and neither the cashier or assistant manager knew how to make change. Finally got change and a table, had to go to the restroom and all of the doors are tweaked and nine if them closes or locks. Bathroom was pretty gross as well, not sure anyone had cleaned all day.
Finally got our food and it wasn’t bad. Katsu chicken was good flavor. Hubby got Hawaiian BBQ chicken. We might have enjoyed it more if the staff wasn’t setting up the chairs around us and actively cleaning to close up.
Overall we did get there later, that’s not the staff fault, but we definitely felt unwanted. We left before 930.

The food is great but I need more food.
The decor is nice.
The tables/chairs need to be cleaned more frequently.
The chairs at the round tables are cool but I hate sitting on dirty-looking stained cushions. Replace the fabric or chairs to improve that; washing is also an option.
Outdoor seating is an option, looks nice but can be sunny
Overall a decent place to get tasty food.
I would probably get it to-go next time without the plastic utensil, unless they start using real dishes.

The food is good. But I have a small gripe at the fact that the cashier refused to take our order unless we payed with cash. If you choose to pay with card, they force to you use the self checkout machine. If you’re gonna force me to ring up my own order, at least give me the employee discount too !

This was the first time ever trying Ono Hawaiian while visiting the Los Angeles area. I liked the restaurant and atmosphere. I ordered the chicken combo that was supposed to come with veggies. I asked the girl if it came with cabbage and broccoli. She said yes but it only had cabbage when it came. I was wanting broccoli as well like the photo. (That’s the only reason I gave 4 stars). My friend ordered Kalua pig and chicken katsu plate. The sauces are available for you to help yourself, which I like. The seating was comfortable and welcoming. Overall it was a good experience.

This store is the biggest among the nearby Ono Hawaii BBQ restaurants. Many staff working in one shift probably because of having drive-thru. The restaurant is very clean and it has plenty indoor sittings and some outdoor sittings suitable for the current outdoor dining situation, but they blocked them off for now. We enjoy having the $5 specials right now and definitely will be back for more!

I came here expecting a simple and pleasant meal, but was instead met with a completely impersonal and frustrating experience. I went to the counter to place my order and pay with my credit card, but was told I had to use one of their computer kiosks instead.
I don’t mind a little technology, but I was not in the mood for an awkward, machine-driven ordering process, and the whole situation felt rude and unnecessary. A kiosk can’t answer questions or offer help, and I felt completely ignored by the employees who were just standing around.
Rather than navigate a clunky touchscreen just to pay with my card, I decided my money would be better spent elsewhere. I walked right out and went to in n out next door, where a human being was happy to take my order and my credit card without a fuss. It’s a shame, because I love the food, but I won’t be back to a place that treats its customers like an inconvenience.
