Food is good. However it can be extremely slow, especially for drive thru. Lastly and the most important thing is service. I placed a family order por pickup, I requested to get more Mac and less rice. They refused because the receipt had to say it specifically. They just didn’t want to accommodate a simple and easy request. I didnt want free food. I just wanted more Mac and less rice.

First visit — and unfortunately our last. The chicken was burnt throughout, and we were left feeling very disappointed. Mac salad was extremely plain. I threw away my entire meal.

The chicken katsu wasn’t hot at all. It was served room temp. Didnt bother taking it back because you don’t know what they are going to do to your food. This is the first time I received it not piping hot. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly. The place was clean. Was there around 2P 01/26/26 and spent just under $30.

Food is good, however they are incredibly slow with their service. I sat in the drive thru for almost 10 minutes before they took my order. Very disappointing because they do have great food, but the service is so bad that I won’t come back

I used to come here almost daily. Food is good but recently, they’re service size has not been consistent. I always get the same order and sometimes they would add more vegetables to make it look full and add a layer of meat on top.
It was very disappointing but it made me discover other Hawaiian restaurants in the area.

Very rude employee . Was told to wait in designated parking for drive thru . I waited 20+ min and the went back to drive thru . My order was just two musubi orders.. got my order was about to ask for sauce and the window was closed on me I tried getting employee’s attention I made eye contact with employee but was ignored I sat in the drive thru for at least 3-5 min . And was still ignored also they locked the door 1hr before closing time . They seem to always forget sauce and cutlery so remember to double check when going here .

I would like to share a positive update regarding my recent visit to Ono Hawaiian BBQ.
Following my initial less-than-satisfactory experience, the manager graciously compensated our meal, which we greatly appreciated.
We are pleased to report that our second visit was a much more enjoyable experience. We had the opportunity to try the Island Fire Chicken, and the Kuala Combo with Katsu. Both dishes were absolutely delicious and well-prepared.
This positive experience has certainly changed my perception, and I am glad I gave OH BBQ another try.
