Generous schnitzel portions and friendly service — great dinner spot!
We came here for dinner on a Friday evening and were lucky to get seats without a reservation. The waitress was very kind and polite. Schnitzels start at around 17,90€ and mostly stay under 20€, depending on the sauce and side dish. I ordered the Wiener Schnitzel XL and was pleasantly surprised by the portion — it was huge and delicious! It came with hot and crispy fries. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. Toilets are available for customers. We’ll definitely come again.

I really enjoyed this place! I was starving after a 30 km run, and wanted a large portion of food. This place was highly recommended and I’m really glad I went. I got the “hunter schnitzel” with the mushroom gravy and it was excellent. I was amazed at how fast the meal came out, and the staff was really professional and attentive, they also spoke good English. I’ll definitely come back here many times.

Massive portions, you get a great bang for the buck. Was it the best? Nah, was it good for how much you got, completely! Had a bit of a smoke smell, but not too bad.
Had the tiramisu for dessert, was still a bit frozen, but was still delicious and had a nice presentation. Typical laid-back spot. Went in on a Thursday night at 7, didn’t need reservations.
Overall just a good all around spot.

The food was delicious, but the waiter’s behavior was very surprising and disappointing for us. At the beginning of our visit, we were told that card payment was not possible and that we had to have cash. We were forced to go to an ATM and withdraw cash. However, later we saw that they did have a card payment machine, and other tables were paying by card. When we asked about this, we were told that only customers with a reservation were allowed to pay by card, which was a strange and unacceptable justification for me.
Additionally, when we asked for an extra empty plate, we were told that we had to pay three euros, which I do not think is correct or professional. Overall, this behavior gave me a clear feeling of discrimination, and possibly racism.

Easy access from the U14. Huge portions – make sure you’re hungry when you go. Pretty good value too. Tried the maultaschen because I knew I wasn’t hungry enough for the schnitzel and even that was very filling. Got a liter of the Keller Pils but, in keeping with massive portions, 3L was an option. Nice cozy atmosphere. Got there at 18:00 on a Wed and was seated right away.

One of the best schnitzels I have ever had! If you love schnitzels and can bring a big appetite with you, then this restaurant is a must. You can have an xl schnitzel 300g or xxl schnitzel 600g. Wash it down with great locally brewed beer or a nice glass of red wine. Staff are friendly and helpful. You need to book early because this restaurant is very popular.

This place is just incredible! The food is SO good and very well served (be ready to happily eat a lot). The staff is lovely. The only warning for tourists is that they take cash or paypal, so I’d recommend having a bit of money. A must go if your passing by the city!
