The food was delicious and the menu was great! Absolutely loved the cabbage rolls. Loved how they supported the local artists as well. They had indoor and out door facilities. And even a place for pets to go as well! Nice bar with Irish Pub!

VFW Post 10763 selected O’Neill’s Pub for the Membership Appreciation Dinner. Tasha Parker, the Service Manager was indispensable in selecting a menu, setting up for the occasion, good ideas and pitching in to help make this a memorable event. The Corned Beef and Cabbage was perfect, moist and seasoned to perfection (complements to the chef). The Enchiladas were delicious and had a bite!! The excellent food upheld O’Neill’s reputation and the service was marvelous. They have a roomy covered patio that was had ample room for our event. Value for money!!!

We usually love coming here for dinner and drinks. Tonight we were looking forward to a good, filling dinner. We got here during happy hour and ordered our drinks. My companion order bangers and mash, which we noticed was on the happy hour menu. When it arrived it was MUCH smaller that usual. We assumed she had given us a happy hour portion. But no, it was full price. I know we will probably be back, but leaving hungry after paying $17 for an entree is unacceptable.

It’s been a while since I’ve been to O’Neils and Ive never had a bad experience.
Last night we met with family for a birthday celebration.
Drinks were great but the food was amazing
Green chile chicken fritters were amazing, I had the chicken club and it was great.
The boxty was fantastic especially with the apple sauce.
Can’t wait to go back again

Absolutely horrible experience here. The service was appalling.. first of all our server Johnny was cleary drinking on the job.. he smelled like a distillery, glossy eyes, and I was suprised he could form a full sentence. To boot, he clearly had some personal grooming issues. So needless to say the service that followed was sub par at best. We waited 20 minutes just for him to deliver our beers. It seems he was too busy chatting and flirting with another waitress, which mind you was to a level that hardly seemed work appropriate. On top of it all, I watched with bewilderment as our Johnny dropped a lime for a drink on the floor, pick it up, and put it back onto the rim of the glass. I was mortified. Anyways we quickly paid for our beers and left hungry, it was not worth waiting around nor were we confident of the sanitary quality of any food or drink we would recieve. I sincerely hope this is not the standard of employee behavior and presentation O’Neill’s allows in their restaurant, because it was gross.

This was our first time here, but won’t be the last! Delicious food, friendly attentive service. 18 beers on tap and a very wide variety of local, national, and international beers in cans/bottles. Great whiskey selection. 2 patios, 1 covered, 1 open air with sun umbrellas; the latter is dog friendly. Thanks for the vegan items on the menu!

Very nice spot, very clean bathrooms and very friendly service.
Enjoyed basically everything with really no issues other than the sauerkraut that came with the BOXTY. I did not get sick like the last person claimed but it was definitely ‘unique’.
I enjoy sauerkraut and eat it relatively often but man I haven’t had anything like theirs. A scent and taste of what I can only describe as Foot. I don’t think it was rancid or expired but I definitely think they might want to revisit their recipe because I found that to be almost inedible.
I thought I might’ve been over reacting or just personally didn’t enjoy the taste but when I took it home and let some of the family try they had similar reactions.
This is not meant to be a slight towards them, again everything else was awesome, but man I would not order that again and would recommend anyone who is tempted to ask for a sample of the sauerkraut before committing.
I understand it may be within date and properly stored but what I received was honestly kind of disgusting.
Will definitely be back but can say I would not order or recommend that dish.

We typically love the food and atmosphere here, however, we were there recently and our server (male, red curly hair) seemed intoxicated. It made us very uncomfortable and ruined our dining experience. I’m not sure we will return if this is the standard of service the restaurant gives.

Came here for lunch and the service was terrible. The order was wrong but the food was ok.

A very pleasant experience here. Stephen is a terrific server. Seating is spaced far apart, local artwork sports the walls inside and the outdoor seating provides heat lamps on a cold day.
Safety is a priority and the staff and patrons here are responsible.
I recommend the:
1. Fish & Chips
2. Blackened Bleu Burger (add bacon)
3. Nachos & Sweet Potato Fries
4. The fried pickles
They know how to cook burgers here and their passion for making food is evident in what they serve you. Keep it up!
This location has less of your traditional “pub” feel than the location on Knob Hill but
