Chicken and 3 orders of garlic naan!
If you are craving Indian food, you have to try this place!
Next time we are going to try the Dosa! They look amazing!
We spent over $35 on just this one dish, and what we received was a complete disaster. The pani puri water was overly salty, and the filling tasted like plain aloo curry, overloaded with bay leaves and cinnamon sticks not the one you get with panipuri. It didn’t resemble traditional pani puri at all. ♂️ ♂️
I called the store to share this feedback, but the lady who served us was very rude and dismissive. When I offered to bring the food back or show pictures, she responded, “This is what we serve, sir.” She claimed the filling was fully mashed potatoes, even though there were clearly large chunks. When I mentioned the water being too salty, she flatly denied it. ♂️ ♂️ ♂️ ♂️ ♂️ ♂️
She also insisted that pani puri does not come with both spicy and sweet water, which is incorrect and even their own website shows an image with both sauces. ♂️ ♂️ ♂️
There was no offer to fix the issue or provide a refund, despite us paying in full. This is not how customer feedback should be handled. I will be very cautious about ordering from here again and would not recommend this place, especially for chaat.
This spot has quickly become a weekly go-to for us. The food quality is consistently excellent, and you can really taste the care in every dish. Highly recommend for anyone craving delicious Indian street food with a cozy vibe!
We ordered a dry Chicken 65 for takeout, and when we opened it at home, the dish was burnt, bland, and did not appear fresh at all. This is unacceptable, especially after a customer has paid in good faith for a proper meal.
On top of that, the Irani chai we received today was full of tea powder. The staff member who served us could have at least informed us that they were about to refill the container—especially since we saw them taking the containers for refilling right after pouring our chai.
If the owner happens to read this, please take responsibility for the quality of food being served. It’s basic professionalism—and common sense—for the kitchen to ensure that dishes are prepared well before they leave the restaurant.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time we’ve had such an experience.
That being said though—the dosa was a banger. I mean well worth the wait imho. The sambar was on point it smelled awesome and it was ever so tangy from the tamarind and dosa was crisp and the masala was loaded with aromatics. The red chutney was perfectly spicy and the peanut chutney was creamy and rich and smelled great. The onion samosas were a little cold by the time I got them but flavor-wise a 10/10 recommendation from the person who took my order. The Irani chai was fantastic, especially for a chilly evening.
Everything I got was naturally gluten free and vegetarian but I don’t know whether the rava dosas were cross contaminated with the regular dosas or if the sambar has flour. If I was a celiac I probably would’ve asked.
TL;DR: The kitchen needs to get it together but I’ll let almost any kind of service slide for that kind of delivery.
