My wife and I stopped in here before seeing David Spade at the Midland (conveniently located about 100 feet away) on 6/7/25. It was our first time here and it was very enjoyable.
We ate in, as did quite a few others that night. They also do a lot of carry out business. The pizza was great, we ordered a small pepperoni with extra cheese and extra mushrooms (see photo).
Not only was it delicious (as was the garlic bread we tried), but the service was very attentive. We were there for probably an hour and I’m not exaggerating when I say that they checked to see how we were doing no less than 4 times.
We would absolutely come back!

Christy’s is my boyfriend’s favorite, I didn’t have much of an appetite tonight so I went with spaghetti and meatballs. HOLY CRAP this is the best spaghetti and meatballs I’ve ever tried at a pizza place. The meatballs are so dang good!!! The sauce, the noodles, the portions, everything’s perfect!!! I have a new obsession. I cut up the meatballs so ignore how butchered my bowl is

I have both eaten inside of and had food delivered from Christy’s pizza. They are the most friendly people with fair prices in this world and the quality of the food is always outstanding. You actually get cheese on their pizzas! Their employees make the difference here by far! Deliveries come on time or earlier and they are so pleasant and friendly! Highly recommend!!!

I ordered 2 subs exactly the same. Delivery. Chicken bacon ranch with double chicken. They said it will be 40 minutes. An hour and 15 minutes later I call them back and they said they should be there any minute. Another 45 minutes goes by and I call them once again because it’s been over 2 hours at this point. The food finally showed up, cold as could be, after 2 hours and 15 minutes, and we were only 4 minutes down the road. Yes i almost drove there a few times. The manager ended up giving me a credit to use within 30 days of the exact same order. So I end up calling back weeks later to receive my credit and the woman tells me they’re going to charge me for double chicken. I told her that’s exactly what the order was the first time and I wasn’t going to pay for it as this was a free meal of what I had. When I went to pick it up I was going to complain about it to a manager but the lady at the cash register looked like she was in a good mood and I didn’t want to cause a fuss about it and then me look like the bad guy. The situation absolutely 100% should have been handled differently by them and my credit should have been honored. That’s what you get sometimes when one manager tries to make it right and another manager who’s working the next time not know anything about what’s going on and not honor the deal, even though it was written down. Not a happy customer and we order here atleast 1-3x a month. It may cause me to just not support their business anymore.

Stumbled upon this place back in 2019 and it’s a regular every time I stay in Newark. Being from the south, I feel at home with the way the staff treats you. They are always super friendly, things are laid back and old fashion, and the service is always respectful and prompt. I eat way too much each time I come but the short walk back to the local hotel balances it out. There is a ton on the menu but I always end up with the garlic cheese bread and sausage pizza. They have Dr. Pepper which is awesome too.

An absolute delight!! Best Pizza East of the Pacific, West of the Atlantic, North of the Gulf and South of the Northwestern Passages!! (I’ve only every been out of the country once to Canada btw. ) Seriously though, I don’t take this lightly… This is the best Pizza, Subs, CHICKEN TENDERS, LOADED TATERTOTS, Cherry Cheesecake I have had. Service has gotten horrible at the front. Theres an older woman that is very slow, has a horrible attitude and shows everytime Im either there or on the phone with her that she doesnt know her job. She complains about her co workers, the people on the phone or how the day shift people always leave her with extra work. Tonight she couldnt help ppl at the front because she was out of breathe from running pizzas to someones car….lol. i wasnt aware this service was offered.

A great pizza spot located in downtown Newark. Sauce is sweet and cheese is thick. Large is 16″ instead of the standard 14 from the chains in the area. A great pick for a weekly Friday night dinner option.

Came in, waited in line, said my name and waited again, nearly 30 mins for her to finely turn around and realize the order was ready the entire time. I’m not paying for slightly warm pizza, cold bread sticks, and crap service. It wasn’t even an issue of being too busy, they just don’t pay attention.
