The food was great. No one at the table had ANY qualms. We all know SOMEONE usually has something . Our Culinary Guide Arnvil (I hope I’m spelling it correctly) recommended wonderful dishes and The VERY VERY BERRY cocktail was giving me life☺️ The tortellini with added shrimp was supurb. Get lots of napkins though. The Risotto with Chicken was seasoned perfectly with a marvelous texture. The Gouda Puffs had a nice mild flavor. The staff was really helpful and nice.

They have great happy hour deals and the best chili cheese fries! Great place to stop by for a quick drink and bite before headed onto the train! We were in an out within an hour so it’s great service is fast! Bartender made the best margarita, the specials are on Tuesday!

I honestly really rarely write reviews, but this place absolutely deserves one. From the moment I walked in, everything stood out the food was excellent, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was genuinely friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The location is convenient, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. It’s rare to find a spot that gets food, service, ambiance, and value all right, but this restaurant truly does. Highly recommended.

I thought this food was pretty exceptional especially for the price! They cooked our steak and sliders to order and it tasted very fresh. This flatbread was good but would’ve preferred less pesto and maybe a balsamic glaze instead. Overall, really loved the vibe and it was very reasonably priced for the city. They were understaffed it seemed and it was noticeable which made our wait time a little longer than anticipated but the servers were doing their absolute best and it was greatly appreciated!

Need a nibble and a sip before the Lyric Opera and One North delivered. Casa Tamarind cocktail, delicious. Great looking menu with everything from a quick shared appetizer to a full entree. Highly recommended.

Food was awful. The “seasonal bruschetta” was inedible with what tasted like store-bought crostini and Craisins. Had to send the “Margherita Focaccia” back to the kitchen – it smelled and tasted like mildew. The “Asian Lettuce cups” had wilted Bibb lettuce; I did not predict they would be served cold – also not good. Something we ate was very overly garlicky.
First wine pour was in a cheap glass and not a full-sized pour. Second pour was good and normal.
Service was nice, but atmosphere was terrible – VERY BRIGHT LIGHTING as if it were closing time at a bar.
Would never return and would not recommend this place to anyone.

Wonderful place to grab a dinner and dessert before seeing the Lyric Opera. We really appreciate that the staff were friendly and accommodating. They have a wonderful happy hour menu with something for everybody. We had the filet mignons sliders, happy hour Taco special, gouda cheese puffs and bruschetta. Everything was excellent. Erica the executive chef in general manager came up to our table and really accommodated our needs. Wonderful and we will be back!

I had a party of 10 attend a pre-opera dinner, they wouldn’t accommodate us when we said we needed to switch to a lower sitting table for one of the older ladies with us with hip issues. The food was ok, not amazing, the steak was burnt and overcooked. The prices were decent for the Chicago area. It is a good location right across the street from the lyric opera so we didn’t need to do much walking to the theater. The waiter could’ve been more professional.

Nice modern restaurant, but terrible food. Disappointed in a restaurant with food so bland and flavorless in the heart of downtown Chicago. Had a Caesar salad (I know, not the best dish to get, but they still got it all wrong) and the lettuce was not fresh at all, it didn’t fill crunchy. The chicken tasted completely microwaved and processed. I was surprised when I saw the restaurant swears by their Non GMO meats, but that chicken definitely tasted like the frozen Tyson chicken you get from the grocery store. Their “homemade” Caesar dressing tasted bland; a store-bought dressing from Walmart has more flavor than that. Terribly disappointed in this place and surprised people eat this kind of food in Chicago.
The servers were extremely nice and professional. I had a good service thanks to them and they’re not to blame for the food.
