Our server was really nice and did come and check up on those multiple times. They never did rush us as we were there eating until 9.30.
Loaded nachos- 3/5-it was good but bcz it was cold- the cheese was but runny.
Fish and chips-5/5- loved it . Fish was so fresh.
One lime chicken- 4/5- little buttery for my taste but was good.
Lamb chops-4/5- hmm little chewy but sauce was good.
Apple, fig cobbler-3/5-was very sweet didn’t like it.
Flourless cake-5/5- was a hit
The drinks were also nice: apple cider sangria, hot tardy, Rue Lala ,Vienna .
Loved this place and the vibe. Worth visiting.
To top the night off our waitress was nice enough to grab a few photos while my, now soon to be husband, proposed to me!
Overall it was a perfect night!!
The fall spice beer was okay but on the sweeter side. It was almost impossible to order a second beer since our waitress was very busy, unfortunately.
The French fries were standard fare and decent. I would order these again.
We ordered the two taco dishes on the menu. Both were served in flour tortillas and placed in taco holders. There were both over stuffed and nearly impossible to eat without spillage.
The duck taco had a conflicting sweet honey sauce on it and was very dry. The lettuce and fixings were fine and seemed fresh. The combination of the duck and the sauce ruined the taco experience
The vegan tacos were the extremely disappointing. I found them to have no flavor and proceeded to spice mine with salt and pepper. That didn’t help, so I added Cholula hot sauce to mask the blandness that was the vegan tacos. The tacos were full of red skinned potatoes, and mine even had white pasta in them. The vegan chorizo had a typical texture but the flavor was lacking. The most flavorful part was the lettuce garnish in the bowl.
The wait staff seemed busy and hard working. Our interactions were quick ‘drive-by’s for water, ketchup, or the check. We found it difficult to flag someone down for help. The QR code on the table for the food menu doesn’t work so you must have the paper menu in hand.
For the atmosphere, I would the restaurant very busy and loud, which is what I expected for a brew pub. I am on currently on crutches and found the floors very slippery. It does not seem wheelchair accessible since there are many stairs to get into the restaurant, and the other outdoor entrance was blocked off. The bathrooms were also tight.
Overall I appreciate the staff and their work ethic.
