This place is a little hard to find but the food was great, the service was nice point and the decor is very modern. You will need to go around if you are turning into the shopping center from HWY 6. The kitchen is an open concept so you can see the chefs and their
art. The soft tofu and the soft shell crab was something I would get again.

I highly doubt this restaurant will stay open for more than 6 months. Prime example of people with money to open a business but do not know how to run one, or market one. The location is bad. GPS doesn’t guide me to it. Leads me to the center of the plaza almost. No signs or guidance to get to the restaurant. Second, food was just above mediocre. The noodle dish was nice. Soup dumplings were great. Siomay was acceptable but a bit bland. The interior was well done but looks like they overspent money on interior too much rather than location. Location is very important to a restaurant. Service was great at least though.

Went on 10/12 around 12. The front door was blocked by the lady owner? Looked at us and didn’t even welcome us in. Blocked the entrance talking to her older age guest.

Service was okay. Food came out randomly and then very slow.

Said there was no more chicken feet but then another table who came later had some…

Food was not good… As in the taste isn’t outstanding. With what your getting and for the high price for dim sum…. Price range is 6.50 to 9 dollar….. Just pass on this place. Each one has 3…. Small portion

Service fee is added and then the machine ask for a tip.

No need to go to this place.

I’ve been here a few times since they’ve open. Each time it gets better. Friendly staff and very courteous. The food is fresh and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the siu mai, fried turnips, bbq pork buns, sticky lotus rice, soup dumplings and pumpkin puff

Terrible food! They serve sticky rice in Frozen! Which is ridiculous, the price with the food is not worth it, also they charge for HOT WATER FOR bringing own tea, 5 people and they charge $8 for hot water which never seen in anyother place. Never come back this place, expense but the food is BAD!

One Dim Sum is a hidden gem in the Sugar Land/Missouri City area. Our party tried about a dozen dishes ranging from typical fare to more unique dishes, and overall the food is excellent. I was pleasantly surprised to try dishes that I don’t normally see at typical dim sum restaurants like a deep fried glutinous rice puff filled with a sweet yet savory salted egg yolk creamy filling. Standouts were the tender Beef flat noodles (though a tad bit oily) and soft shell crab. Ambience is clean and modern. Service was very attentive and friendly. The managers were particularly noteworthy. They made the experience fun and enjoyable. The restaurant is a bit difficult to locate in the expansive shopping strip as there are no signs other than the one above the restaurant’s entrance. Menu prices are expensive compared to what typical diners expect for dim sum in our area. If you’re hankering for dim sum and are up to trying out One Dim Sum, I’d recommend giving it a try.

The kids enjoyed the food, it was fresh and delicious. However, I was surprised by the portion size (most staples came out in 3s instead of usual 4s like other dim sum places) and the service charge. My husband didn’t pay attention so he tipped on top of the service charge. I understand it was still their soft opening so the waiters are still learning to navigate their job. I wish this place the best!

I went to try One Dim Sum with some friends and had a very enjoyable lunch. The restaurant is a little hard to find since its tucked behind a building in the corner, but once you find it, you are welcomed with friendly staff and modern decor. All of our wait staff was very friendly and the food was served quickly. I really liked the eggplant/tofu dish and the soft shell crab. The price per dish is more than Chinatown, but that is the price you pay for good chinese food out in the suburbs. Overall, a great experience.

I went inside to order takeout. The waiter was attentive and I sat at a table to order. The restaurant is very comfortable and clean. Good atmosphere. Food is delicious! It’s hard to find because google didn’t give good directions. It’s behind the Marriott. There’s a street beside hotel and the new building is on the right. I recommend going. I’m going to dine in my next visit.

I took the whole family of 13 on a Saturday night and the staff was very accommodating putting multiple tables together. Staff was very attentive all night!

Food was very good. We had an assortment of dim sum dishes and traditional Chinese dishes. The fried tofu was amazing, highly recommend.

Will definitely go back again.
