Drove 6 hours into town. Looked for restaurants for dinner and decided to try this dumpling place. We ordered for pickup and added rice to go along with a “2 person” dish. When I arrived, I asked if chopsticks and utensils included. Young man said, “yes, should be.” I don’t want to unwrap and take out every item to inspect when I got a hungry family waiting at the hotel. They didn’t include the side of rice and only provided 1 chopstick.

To top it off, my son ate the lotus wrap sticky rice and uncovered a hair. Obviously not going back since we’re just visiting and definitely not recommended.

Service was efficient- a bit impersonal and felt a little rushed. the atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. The food however, was not exceptionally good. It was decent and edible, but lacked the flavor we were looking for. We ordered spicy veggie dumplings, the sauce those came in tasted and looked like canned enchilada sauce. We also ordered chicken and corn dumplings as well as beef and onion pot stickers. The dough was a bit too thick and almost rubbery. The filling was decent but the flavor was not very good- specifically the chicken and corn- that filling blend had ingredient flavors that don’t work well together. The chicken chow mein was decent but nothing above average, hence 3 stars. Overall not a bad experience, but it wasn’t good enough for a second visit.

Nice meal, clearly written vegan menu items.

Updated review: can I give this restaurant more stars? Love the spicy tofu, great weekday lunch specials & well labeled vegan options

Passing through SGV and stopped at this unassuming, quick-service dim sum restaurant. The menu, ordering, and pay is done through the website which makes service more efficient.

overall food was delicious. The dumplings and bao had a nice consistent flavor. The walnut shrimp was not the standard butterfly shrimp but still had a decent flavor to it.

Would stop by again if in the area. Not for large parties.

While the food is very good, it was pissing me off that we have to order only through the bar code menu. If they don’t want to properly serve us then why then they want the full blown tip? We tried to ordered through the app and it was very long and frustrating since the app was refusing to accept my credit card. So I replaced my order several times.
The food was very good though, hot and delicious, but the chairs are worn out completely. They are very uncomfortable. It was a feeling that I have been sitting in the whole in some outside toilet somewhere in the countryside not in a dim sum restaurant. The overall feeling is between 2.5 to 3 stars despite the food was very good.

One Bite Dumpling used to be a place I enjoyed, but unfortunately the quality has gone downhill. The food is no longer as consistent as it once was, and the overall experience has become disappointing compared to past visits.

Dumplings that were previously fresh and flavorful now feel rushed and lack the same care in preparation. Portions and quality no longer match what made this place worth returning to in the first place.

It’s disappointing to see a place that used to be reliable lose its standards. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on restoring the quality and consistency that originally made One Bite Dumpling a good spot.

Our favorite dim sum place in SCV. While their xiao long bao (soup dumplings) has a sour after taste, we like their shrimp hargaw, shao mai and spicy dumplings. The noodle soups are great, too, and is huge and one order can be easily shared by 4 people.

Expect a little bit of wait during lunch and dinner peak hours.

What a delicious lunch we had! Craving for dumplings, we tried a spot we haven’t tried before with One Bite Dumpling, and it definitely hits the spot.

One Bite Dumpling certainly won’t feel out of place if it was in the middle. Of San Gabriel Valley, with its authentic dumplings like Pork Xiao Long Bao. We ordered those as well as BBQ Pork Buns, Pan Friend Pork Buns, Sautéed String Beans with Garlic, and Singapore style Vermicelli.

Starting with the Xiao Long Bao, this quintessential soup dumpling comes with piping hot soup and savory pork that is delicious and pairs well with chili oil. You get 8 bite-size deliciousness.

The Pan-fried Pork is definitely my favorite out of what we ordered. There is that great blend of crispness, slight char, and delicious savory filling. And I can’t get enough of the chili oil for this, too!

The sautéed string beans compliment the dumplings very well and if you’re not getting rice or noodles, it’s perfect.

The Singapore style vermicelli is probably the one that least excite us, as it is fairly one note. It is still good, but not compared to the rest of the order.

The staff are friendly and jeeps a goodneyebin taking care of us. Ordering is quick and easy through their online order, too. Love the decor of the paintings on the wall depicting the various Hong Kong and Chinese cuisine.

I found this little dumpling spot after my massage right next door. It was busy and it has great reviews so I decided to give it a try.

They offer a good variety of dumplings and cooked dishes plus some dim sum here. I asked the owner (I presume the Asian younger guy at the counter was the owner) what the best dumpling to try and he said the pork soup dumplings.

I was by myself and not very hungry so I couldn’t order a ton of food. I ordered the pork soup dumplings to try. The order comes with 8 pieces for $12.99. All the soup dumplings are made fresh to order in front of you to watch.

They came out fresh and piping hot in about 10 minutes. They were filled with the delicious pork soup! The skin was thin but not the thinnest soup dumpling skin I’ve had. Overall they were good. I also asked for some fresh ginger too.

They offer free soy sauce, vinegar and chili sauce at the table but you need to ask for the ginger if you want it. They didn’t charge for it.

I was looking at the other tables food as the orders came and everything looks good. Portion sizes weee good for sharing too.

Overall a great spot for dumplings! I will definitely be back to try some different ones when I’m back in the area.

The service was great. We asked if they cooked with MSG Seasoning and the waiters was very helpful to explain that everything fresh made in-house is cooked with MSG . Food was just okay. We ordered beef soup, and it was very bland☹️ the steam pork dumplings were really yummy the string beans had good flavor, but the other dumplings were just okay
