We are from out of town so it was our first meal here. Delicious! Our server was genuinely happy to serve us. The food was fresh, delicious, and unique. Portions are generous and 6 out of 7 of us had enough leftover that we will have it for dinner. The chips were unique and yummy, and I enjoyed the guacamole. I had the tequila chicken bowl, and I would get it again.

Stopped here during a weekday for lunch with my family. Wife and I really enjoyed our meals. I had the birria tacos, and I thought the shells were authentic and overall had great flavor. The kids beef tacos were hearty and flavorful for kids food. The service was top notch. Very attentive with drink refills and general check ins, and very pleasant and chill overall. Great lunch deals and happy hour deals too.

We used Flame Cantina as one of our food trucks for our wedding rehearsal dinner at Jasper Winery in Des Moines. The food was fantastic, and the service was excellent. The entire planning process with Kellie was smooth and professional. Many of our guests commented on how delicious the food was, and having the food truck added a fun element to the evening. We are so glad we chose them for our event.

Great food and service! We ordered the chips trio appetizer. I got the quesa birria tacos and my wife got the quesadilla which she says is the best she’s had! The kids also loved the Mac and cheese. It helps that it wasn’t just the box brand! We will definitely be back!

I don’t often eat Mexican but I have to say my husband and I were very impressed with this restaurant. We had homemade tortillas with pico and queso. The best I have ever had. I could have eaten these all night. As I don’t eat Mexican, I had the cowboy burger which was surprisingly delicious. I leapt across and tried out some of my husband’s enchilada, beans and rice and loved the flavors. If you like flavors from South of the border or are a little adventurous, this is a must try. The restaurant is warm and cozy. The staff is friendly and there is plenty of parking. It is busy so come early if you are like me and prefer a booth
