From my first contact with this venue to the last decoration being packed away, One Bar + Kitchen has easily become one of my favorite places. The memories curated and manifested for my daughter’s College Graduation and Hollywood Send-Off was absolutely incredible! Every single time I came in, called, texted with yet another detail or question, Eric, Chef, and the staff were gracious and attentive. Everyone in attendance had an excellent time, the food was phenomenal, and the desserts were delicious!!! Many lasting memories were captured and will be cherished by many! I have never held an event like this before, but rest assured I will hold more in the future here! This team is professional, committed, and humble. Thank you all for such a wonderful experience!!!

I went on a Wednesday evening to see Mike McKeys Child & Friends (Amazing Live Band) the Happy Hour food & drink specials are on point,the atmosphere is relaxing and the music and energy of the band is off the charts.
I love this band and would follow them anywhere, whoever Mike brings out to play never disappoints, trust me.
Make it a Date Night, Ladies Night, or just an After Work Happy Hour Wind Down!!!

I Was invited by a few friends this past Friday 11/14, came in sat at the bar, ordered two drinks (which were horrible by the way), was told one amount then the next day I look at my bank info and was charged something completely different. Almost $50 for two drinks, TWO! When the original check was $34, I also tipped in cash!! I barely come out but when I do I try to support black owned businesses… I was robbed blindly is beyond words. The bartender that helped me I’ve seen her there before in the summer like in June, she light skinned, big forehead, chasing after guys instead of being attentive to everyone because women tip too, if not better. Friday she had this stank attitude and honestly I should’ve left then but I stayed… never again!! I was going to report it to the bank but she looked like she needed the money more than I did. You can’t have a stank attitude and not know how to make drinks. Not friendly bartender! They won’t be seeing another dime. I’ll make sure to so spread the word…

Came in last night for a girls night. The location is great downtown and parking was easy. This place is huge and had plenty of seating options including a very cute bar. Our server Arlene was great. We all loved our dishes!

DJ Craig G was playing and spinning the tunes. Came in with a group of about 12 ladies. We were told at the door that the kitchen was open for wings and fries. Arrived at 11:05 pm and promptly wrote our order down for the waitress. Around 12:07am we followed up since we saw no food arriving and she seemed completely clueless regarding the order. A manager arrived and she un earthed our original sheet from below her pile on the register, unfazed, unapologetic, and unbothered by the fact she never put in our order. Left at 12:22am after ordering two drinks and no food in sight. Great venue, great DJ, bartenders in the front great, but service is what makes a place, and after this experience, I will be sure to pass next time I come to Hartford.

I attended a Halloween party and the young hispanic bartender overcharged me for two drinks turned around went to another bartender order the same two drinks and it was a cheaper price so she was scamming to cover whatever she did also money was stolen out of my pocketbook by one of the staff members. Music good but drinks and staff are a zero. The owner needs to rethink his employees

I hosted a college send-off event for my daughter this past Saturday and it was fabulous!
I decided on a drop-in style function where we reserved the seating area that is fully furnished and nicely decorated with a fully equipped bar specific to that location (which served non-alcoholic beverages at my request). This was a small plate function and the food, which is provided by the establishment, was presented extremely well and tasted even better!
The owners, chefs, waitstaff and bartenders were highly professional, handled our family and friends with care and were very accommodating from booking until the actual event.

After waiting 2 plus hours to order food and drinks on a Friday. I can’t even speak to the level of bad that service was. I stepped up and communicated 4 times within that time and the waitresses seemed more concerned about serving drinks at the bar and not serving the tables. Finally talked to the manager/owner and yes he apologized but not do much after they served under cooked fries under fried fish. 10% and taking the cost off for the fries did nothing for me. I mean 2+ hours later for food and drinks. How many others waited the same time. Please ONE BAR get it together. The music was great but the service was terrible. Staff cannot have attitudes when they are at fault especially when you directly talk to them about not receiving their services.
