Found this place before we went to the bars and it was delicious. Definitely a new favorite for us. My burger was perfect, fries were crispy and hot. My husband had the swarmma wrap and the chicken was super flavorful and tender/juicy. Will be back here soon.

We had a really good experience here! The service was excellent — very attentive, friendly, and quick, which definitely made us feel welcome from the start. The food overall has a very American style, nicely presented and with great flavor. The atmosphere is beautiful and inviting, perfect for enjoying a casual meal or a night out.
If I had to point out one thing, it would be that the portions feel a little small for the price. For example, the cheese board was $24 but only came with two slices of prosciutto, which felt a bit underwhelming for the cost. That being said, the quality was good and everything we ordered tasted fresh and well-prepared.
Overall, it’s a place I would recommend if you’re looking for good service, tasty food, and a nice environment. Just be aware that portions lean on the smaller side compared to the pricing, but still worth the visit!

We had an amazing lunch date here. The service was amazing and the manager Ronak was great! We got the truffle fries and whipped feta dip. Both came out quickly and were very tasty. Our beverages were recommend by the manger Ronak and both were delightful. 10/10 would recommend coming here.

Had a wonderful experience from start to finish! The atmosphere was welcoming, everything was clean and well organized, and the food/drinks were excellent. Service was prompt and attentive without ever feeling rushed.
A special shoutout to Ximena, who was especially great. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. Her positive attitude really elevated the whole experience.

I had fish tacos and pizza. The fish tacos were delicious. The pizza was decent but not great. They put too much butter on the crust and I like soft crust. Their pizza’s crust has a crunch to it. I think the wait stuff should be a little more attentive but service was good overall. Great atmosphere. They play good music and the inside has a nice design.

We randomly found On The Kirb while waiting for a friend. The four of us were only planning on getting drinks but the food sounded good! We had already eaten earlier, but we collectively decided to have a second lunch! Everything came out quickly, and hot! For those of us who had beef, the meat was cooked to the requested temp. Everything was extremely flavorful and even my mocktail was delicious without being overly sweet. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. I’m honestly glad we stumbled upon this place!

My sister’s and I first night in Houston and we wanted to find a place that wasn’t too far from the hotel that was within walking distance. The place wasn’t crowded, which was great to me. It’s more of a sports bar, but it was still a quiet atmosphere. I had the Mr. Impersonator burger, fries, and lemonade. I think my sister had a chicken sandwich with fries. All in all, everything was great.

THE spot to be! Whether it’s a sporting event, brunch, pre-game destination, or any one of the AWESOME weekly specials. The rotating cocktail menu is that of a, “White table cloth type restaurant,” with a price point that is reasonable, especially if you utilize their specials. The Barry Bonds cocktail, (pictured) is one of the many greats on their seasonal menu. Get it while you can, the fall menu rolls out soon! (9/6/25 – posted) I have been coming here for years but Chris made the Barry Bonds perfectly, both picturesque and by taste. Gavin is the reason we came here this evening. We met him at the Greenway Plaza location, and we followed him here because of his exceptional hospitality! If you aren’t here, you’re missing out!

I had an ethereal experience at On The Kirb. My breakfast tacos? Legendary. My Diet Coke with lime? Inspirational. But the real cherry on top was my server; Ximena. If heaven ever calls me home I hope she welcomes me at the gate, because she is an angel on earth.

We have been to OTK 3 times.
First time the food was amazing but the services was off.
The second time we went the food was again amazing. The services was so bad, aside from our server who had to take care of the majority of the patrons. We actually asked her is the tips were pooled bc I was blown away by how lack luster the rest of the staff was. She literally check us in, took our order and served us. While the rest of the team stood around the bar.
The last time we went we walked out before we ordered. All the servers were standing around on their phone of chatting. No one took our drinks ordered or even check in with us. In fact, a table that came in after us was served before us. They had drinks in their table and spoke to the server twice.
We will not be back unless something changes.
