I just love these guys, we’re so lucky to have them as our local sub shop. One thing you should know the large is LARGE. It’s basically two ‘normal’ sized subs. They also don’t skimp of the meat or toppings.
Lately my personal favorite has been the salads. Just like the subs they are LARGE salads. Feel like they weigh a couple pounds. They always make a nice presentation of them. Get the house hoagie dressing, it’s awesome.
Check their FB for specials before you order they have a large chalkboard in the shop posted with the specials of the day.
They also have a great variety of flavored mayos and oils.
They have one phone and they do a pretty brisk business, so if you call in and get a busy signal, be patient. It’s worth the wait.

I normally don’t leave reviews, but this experience was too frustrating to ignore. The girl who took my order sounded very young and honestly didn’t seem trained. She was rude on the phone and gave me attitude. I asked if my order could be delivered within 45 minutes and she did give me an answer, she said “probably”, but the way she said it was unprofessional and dismissive.
I also told her over the phone that I would be leaving a delivery tip, and later she claimed I never said that — which is frustrating and completely untrue. On top of that, they didn’t even include knives for the salads, which is just basic stuff.
Even though we didn’t pay for the delivery, I still expect basic communication and respect. After the order was brought, nobody would call me back or give any follow-up information, leaving my food sat for thirty minutes. For a business that relies on customer service, this was really disappointing. I hope management takes this seriously and trains their staff better, because this was unacceptable.

This place is amazing. It’s been around since the 30s I think I was told. The cheesesteaks hard to die for. It’s cute and quaint and so much history in it. I loved it! I will definitely be going there when I get back to that area again. Highly highly recommend this place

I live in walking distance from this place. I go here all of the time. Great food. Great service. I would rather go here than the Subway down further. Bit more money, but you get a sub that’s full. Worth it.

I’ve been waiting to write a review to see if things improved like the first time we ordered (steaks were full and full of flavor!10/10 without a doubt 5 stars) now we’re lucky if half the roll has anything on it and the steak has been burnt a lot more lately too. We always get 4 cheese steaks and the center of our rolls has some steak but by the time you get closer to the ends (on both halves the opening of roll and the ends of the roll)you’re left with the rolls and whatever toppings so literally just stuffed down in almost like a ball and even if you spread it out it still doesn’t cover your roll we don’t want them too packed but atleast enough meat to cover the roll. the flavor though is always 10/10 (even with it being over cooked lately) the flavor is why we keep trying again(every Friday) but now it’s 2 months since we first found on a roll and every week it has gotten less and less steak. this time I got more onions than steak in my roll and thankfully had sauce so I atleast had so sauce and cheese with my bread . I like that there’s a variety of cheeses and they have the good pickles like back home but no wiz.. we’re From Philly home of cheese steaks so when moved up here was depressed bc couldn’t find a good steak place that doesn’t just throw some mozzarella on not so good tasting meat on an ok roll and call it a cheese steak. On a roll always delivers on flavor and the rolls BUT I wish both sides of my sandwich had steak in it. I still recommend them bc the flavor is best so far in this area we keep holding off another week before trying somewhere else.
THEIR PULLED pork is amazing I got a pulled pork sandwich over their Mac and cheese and it was delicious but it’s a special item so not always available and the Maryland crab soup is also my fav but not an everyday item either I always ask when we call but haven’t been able to get it except for that 1 time.

This place was really good! We ordered an Italian hoagie, the Mac and meatballs, burgers and clam chowder. All were SO good. Will definitely be back when around the area!!!
