The taste was fantastic, Chandra’s punctuality was commendable, and his generosity in providing extra items without charge added a delightful touch to our occasions. We ordered food for a big event. 800 people expected. Chandra garu worked with us to adjust quantities for such a large order and delivered ON TIME all the food, which was great tasting as promised. Not one to write a review unless I rate something in the 4.99 star range, I finally found the caterer who qualifies for a pat on the back. In fact, I feel it would be an injustice if I don’t leave a review here. On a friend’s reference, I ordered lunch at Omkar Foods for my party, but with great trepidation about the quality as it is getting increasingly difficult to get good food, especially authentic South Indian vegetarian fare in the metro Atlanta area. But after being served by this caterer, I have to say that my experience was nothing less than phenomenal…right from promptness of promised delivery time to requested spiciness to authentic andhra cuisine to pricing it was 5++ out of 5 stars. Great service and absolutely delicious just like what your mother makes at home. Don’t forget to tell the owner the level of spice you want though.

Everything we ordered was delicious. Yogurt Rice and Sambhar rice was the best I have had in Atlanta area. Pleasant surprise to see yogurt rice seasoned with Cashews. Service was excellent and was touched by the customer service when the restaurant manager insisted on bringing the food to my car as it was raining heavily.

The food was amazing, hot, and sooooo flavorful! Love it! All the guests at the event loved the food.

Food is tasty. It’s a very authentic professional touch, and it reminds us of our homemade taste. We ordered for a kalyanam.
Everyone felt happy with delicious food. The service provided is top-notch. Chandu has taken good care of us and suggested some changes, which we were thinking for a long time to serve food just like in India, i.e., table meals served.

My friends, relatives and I totally love the food. Everyone complimented that food was great!!! Vada with onions, Sambar rice, poornalu, even the chutneys and sambar were amazingly good. Delivery was on time and perfectly packed. Quantity of half tray is like 3/4th of full tray. Excellent service and recommendations. I’ve already passed on the number to few friends from the party who asked where I ordered the food from. I think this is the first party where I did not have to throw food away after the party.

First things first: I love the empathetic service oriented and homely feeling created by the elderly woman – it was like visiting your home back in India in Atlanta for me.
When I presented my dietary restrictions she understood them perfectly and delivered the food (a thali) meeting my needs. She even asked me to come regularly there if my dietary needs are not met else where. I appreciate this behavior of understanding customer needs. She was not trying to exploit the situation as she was ready to lower the price a bit.
The place is next to Ganesh Temple. Entrance sign may say Jai Hind. Mostly home made items are offered with same home made taste and atmosphere. Recommend if you are looking for such simple experience without any expectations. Food is tasty and quantities are enough. Side dishes need little improvement though.
