Wait!! Rip Taylor ate here!!!!

This was our first visit to the Omelet House and it absolutely will not be our last.

This is truly a family operation, and you can feel the pride they take in it. We spoke with the son of the owner, who told us he grew up in the restaurant. His father married the niece of the original owner, so the place has deep family roots and a real connection to Las Vegas history.

Our server Casey was excellent and the service was impeccable from start to finish. They knew it was our first visit and really went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect.

Damian was super helpful and friendly.

The meal started with homemade fresh banana nut bread, which was a great touch.

I ordered the Californian omelet, made with six eggs and packed with sausage, cheese, and avocado, served with their homemade fries. Everything was generous, fresh, and delicious.

If you want a place that feels authentic, welcoming, and proud of its history, I highly recommend visiting Omelet House.

Great food, outstanding service, and a true local experience.

First Visited this location about 14 years ago and it’s still amazing! I’ve also visited another of their vegas locations, and it was just as good. The portions are huge! The service is spectacular. The food is incredible!

This is the original location and it’s located in a strip mall. Parking is limited, so it can get busy on the weekends. They have convenient signs that tell you how long the wait will be based on your location in the line.

This place is a Vegas staple, so you have to stop and try it once!

Joe was our server. This was my first visit based on reviews it seemed like a must check out situation. The food was so good. The hospitality was great. I told Joe I understand the banana bread is a must. Let me say it did not disappoint! Super moist, lots of walnuts baked on top. It was served piping hot with butter on the side. My husband got the pumpkin bread and that was amazing also. The cheese omelette was enough for two people. The potato chips were BOMB! I had so much leftover that Joe kindly provided me a box. I shared my with a very grateful unhoused gentleman. I would highly recommend you visit this yummy and charming house.

Lots of selection of Omelets, hence the name. Came with a party of 9. Got seated right away. Got served right away. Food came out pretty fast. Coffee is always refilled. Our parry loved their food. Serving size is good as well. Highly recommend if you are in Vegas.

After a long time, I find myself facing a restaurant menu filled edge to edge with tiny print on both sides. It feels just like the early 1980s, when I had just immigrated and walked into a diner for the first time. Back then, a menu like this felt more like an English textbook and dictionary combined, something I had to study before I could even place an order.
The coffee served in a brown side-table mug is a classic American morning brew, light in color, almost like barley tea. As I sip it and watch a customer unfold the morning newspaper, I feel as if I’ve stepped back in time to America during the Reagan era. The quiet, orderly atmosphere of those days gently settles in.
Sitting down with Brother Samuel and his wife after such a long time, we shared stories we hadn’t yet told and created new memories together.
Thank you for the warm and satisfying breakfast.
I truly enjoyed it.

There was no wait when we visited in Sept of 2025. I saw some ropes for lines with wait times posted but there was no one in that line so we were seated right away. I think this has to do with decreased tourism to LV now. We enjoyed large portions, fast and efficient service and the coffee was pretty decent too. I got a vegetarian omelet that was brimming with cheese and it had a side of house made potatoes. I’m glad I went to the half-portion as it was already a huge portion. My partner got a large waffle, scrambled eggs and bacon – again, very generous portions.

The atmosphere is 70’s-80’s kitsch with a lot of cool things. If you like vintage things and stained glass windows and lamps, this is an added bonus of visiting this place. There’s also an 80’s vintage store in the Omelet House Mall where this restaurant is located.

Free parking in the private lot.

Huge food, eclectic surroundings, went on a Friday morning, you can tell this place gets slammed on weekends and later in day by all the queue lines but we went right in, coffee is ok, omletes were massive and the potatoes almost like chips very good. I would recommend the half portions. The place is full of pics of Vegas history – cool place I would eat here again I had the fried steak omelet and cowboy special with pancakes

Phenomenal restaurant! Everything was perfect. Staff was extremely friendly and worked together to make sure guests were taken care of from drink refills to cleaning tables. Food came out quick and piping hot – love this! We had a scramble and classic eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was very flavorful and the eggs, cooked to perfection. Banana bread arrived hot and bursting with flavor as well! Breakfast potato slices were so very yummy! We went around 11am on a Saturday and waited about 10 minutes for a booth for 2. We will definitely return again next time we’re in town!

My husband has been here a few times on business trips and has always raved about it — now I see why! The Omelette House is clearly a local favorite and for good reason. Even though there were signs warning of long waits (“45 minutes from here” to “15 minutes from here”), we lucked out and were seated right away.

The service was friendly and quick, and the food was absolutely delicious. The omelettes are huge — I’d honestly recommend ordering the “baby” size even for one person, and we still couldn’t finish ours. The potatoes were fantastic — thinly sliced and fried like soft, crispy potato chips.

They also bring out a thick slice of banana bread, pumpkin bread, or toast before your meal so you can snack while you wait. Such a fun touch! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. We left happy, full, and with leftovers to enjoy later. Highly recommend!

Their omelets are huge (6 eggs) and tasty. The service was great. I’ll say there is no point in ordering a half omelet as they only take off 1$ and the leftovers reheat well.
