First time coming to this restaurant and it honestly blew me away. We grew up in the rural mountains where great southern food wasn’t hard to come by, but when we moved here closer to the city it seemed that it was, until now. Me and my wife both got the country fried steak, and it was everything it’s supposed to be plus more. Delicious, and the sides were perfect as well. Reminded me of back home and could not have had a better experience. Recommend everyone try this place, and we will for sure be back for more. Thanks a lot Omega!

I live in Lexington but not originally from here so still trying out different restaurants. Have ate at Omega House two times now in Arcadia. What a neat place. Good food. Good service. When we left yesterday. This cake was on the bar. Looked so yummy. Owner makes homemade desserts. This was strawberry which I love. I said no. Then I ask my friend whom was paying. Would you like a slice of homemade strawberry cake. He could tell I really did want a piece, so he told the waitress. Add that to the bill. They cut me a huge piece. I brought home. Placed in fridge & just had with my coffee this am. Oh my goodness
I ate every crumb. It was soooo good. So next time I go. Whatever homemade dessert they offer. Will come home with me. Thank you Omega House.

I was impressed with the service, taste of food, variety of menu items and friendliness of the staff. This is an older place where other restaurants have been in the past, it has a small town, country feel. The food is very reasonably priced. We had breakfast and I ordered the recommended chicken biscuit. It was extremely tender, delicious and probably twice the size of fast food chicken biscuits. We will be back for breakfast and will also be trying the lunch and dinner options at some point in the near future.

While I was there I could see 3 other tables sat which made 4 tables including us. Myself and 2 of those other tables all sent different food back. The 4th table hadn’t gotten their food yet so who knows how it went for them.
Server was nice and did her part well but the food wasn’t really worth going back. Obviously part of it was so bad it was returned to the kitchen where I swear I heard the owner (whoever the lady is that hangs around) saying I’d already eaten most of it. No, I sure hadn’t because it was terrible but I had thought the portion was very small so maybe not only did I get it prepared very poorly but they didn’t send out the right amount in the first place. Otherwise it was way overpriced for a laughably small portion.
Her attitude about food being sent back and the food itself makes this a no-go for us.
***EDIT: Had to take my review from 2 stars down to one after the owners obnoxious and immature reply. Anyone who handles their business this way will never last long. It does fit with the attitude she had that day about food being sent back.
It’s odd that they would say they are being sabotaged and lie that this did not happen when it 100% did rather than try to fix the issues.
Note that I have added a screenshot of my credit card transaction to prove I was there.
And for anyone wanting more details or to trigger the owners “memory”, a couple sitting on the back section of the restaurant in the somewhat enclosed room sent back 2 sides, an elderly woman sitting in the middle section (who the owner had been chatting up so it seemed like she knew her) sent back her soup in front of the owner, and then I sent back my item. It all happened within about 5-10 minutes so unless this is normal she definitely remembers.
But, again, at least my server was good.

I think tonight was my last attempt at trying to get good service in this place. I may give it a go for breakfast but the dinner crew just doesn’t cut it. I’ve tried the peters creek location and they’re great. Never once had an issue at the Winston location.
I arrive around 6:00. The waitress sat me asked me my drink order and took forever. Finally another server came and got my drinks. First server came and took my order and then just never returned. The other server did, and she was not even our waitress. I asked the second waitress what our waitresses name was and she said Savannah. So, note to owner, if she treats all customers like this you won’t be able to keep them. This is the second time dining for dinner with this same waitress and got the same service each time with Savannah. If my wife can talk me back into going I will definitely request someone else.
