My family really enjoyed this restaurant! The food was amazing, the staff was SO friendly and our waitress (Sarah) was phenomenal. There was live entertainment the night we were there which added to the great experience. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely go out of our way to stop here. I highly recommend!!

We stopped at Oma’s Restaurant, located inside the Bavarian Inn Lodge. Overall, it was an alright experience.

The house root beer was surprisingly tasty with a caramel-like flavour. I ordered the Steak and Eggs; decent overall, but the steak was really fatty. The standout for me was definitely the Potato Cheese Dumplings… absolutely incredible.

My vegetarian wife ordered the Farmer’s Breakfast and asked for the meat to be placed on a separate plate. Unfortunately, that wasn’t accommodated, so she ended up with bacon and sausage grease all over her eggs, which really put a damper on her meal.

Service was just okay. Our server was friendly, but my water sat empty for way too long, which shouldn’t happen at a restaurant of this size.

Overall, not a bad meal, but there are definitely better spots in the area.

The Scottish Salmon was delicious. Bre did a great job with the service, and Missy also helped make sure that I was taken care of. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great for a peaceful meal.

Our family has been here several times. The environment is great. The service was friendly. I love German meals.
If you are going to a German restaurant, and don’t order German food, then why criticize it? Sorry, I read some of the reviews.

It was a delicious meal. We were able to enjoy it without feeling rushed.
I will be happy to come back in the future.

Food was great, we decided to ordered food instead of getting the buffet so our food took longer to come out than expected. Cute little place .

We have been here before for breakfast, and I remember it not being great. It was just super basic. But we came back for dinner. The German potato dumplings were out of this world delicious. Deep fried and amazing!

The atmosphere is nice, cozy, comfortable and clean.

Staff is EXTREMELY SLOW. Was sat down and then waited 15 minutes for drink order to come. We seemed to have private dining because the place was empty at 7pm on a Friday. We should’ve known why.

The food isn’t good. The Mac and cheese is bitter and lacking flavor of any kind. The other food (sandwiches, pulled pork, soup, fries) are all just okay. The dessert was a complete waste of $15 it was all salt tasting and a very very small portion. We just NEEDED a meal. Ratskeller in the arcade area is 10000x better. I suggest there instead.

Honestly, I don’t know how this place is still open. The food is subpar. What’s good because I’ve never had anything brag worthy besides those dumplings.

Staff was friendly and helpful, just awfully slow.

A German experience maintained by four generations of her family. The ladies dressed in German attire were adorable! The decor and food was great. The soup was good. I loved the homemade noodles.

I’ve given this restaurant 3 different chances and after my 3rd it’s final I will never dine here again..
Visited on 10/10 right when they opened which was 4:30pm, the hostess asked if there was a certain table I preferred, I asked for a table tucked in the back where no one else was dining and she kindly replied saying there was no server to service that area and sat us elsewhere, my first problem was after she sat us, 5 minutes later she sat two separate tables in the area I specifically asked for…Our waitress did not come to our table until 15 minutes after us being seated as well. We placed an order for drinks and a appetizer which also took another 10 minutes for our waitress to arrive to take that order..my aunt ordered a pomegranate lemonade which was definitely just a flavor packet in water due to there being absolutely no flavor as well as when she received a second one there was a white powdered substance all in and on the glass. *That drink was also $4.00* The food was subpar, as I ordered the 1/2 Lbs burger and was very disappointed by it. I could’ve spent my money elsewhere such as McDonald’s and would’ve had better tasting food. Like I said previously, I’ve been here 3 times and tried different things and have been let down each time..
We sat for an hour and a half in between ordering and eating while there was 5-6 waitresses and only 6-7 tables which was way longer of a stay than we anticipated. As we were paying for the bill it seemed our waitress was upset that I was ready to pay while my aunt was busy figuring out how she wanted to pay as well as other plans we had before our long dragged out stay in this restaurant. Once we had payed and waitress took our receipts we had signed and said no further words to us which I found very rude and disrespectful due to us being respectful and appreciative of her service. *Side note* We never once complained about the food and or the drink we disliked to our waitress and or treated her unkindly.
They definitely need to do better in customer service as well as compare their food to prices. Sad to say I will never return to this restaurant.

So the day before we had dinner and it was awesome! However, the next morning ruined our visit to Oma’s. The breakfast we ordered rather than getting the buffet because the buffet looked kind of cold. I ordered two eggs with sausage. Sausage I received was ice cold, i’m guessing they pulled it from the buffet. The waitress is very kind and very nice. She took the meal back within thirty seconds.I received the new plate, the sausage was awful. Somebody tried to flash fry the sausage in super hot grease, which gave it an awful taste and it did not cook it properly. We didn’t finish our meal, paid tipped the waitress because she was awesome and vowed to only have dinner when we go to Oma’s.

Just have to say I was SOOO disappointed. I ordered the fried chicken dinner expecting it to be close to the Bavarian Inn. Well it was old chicken they tossed in the broiler or air fryer to heat back up. It was dry and flavorless. Just save your money and walk to Zehnders or Bavarian Inn for FRESHER chicken
