Omar’s Bistro, the newest addition to Omar’s World of Comics & Pixel Paradise, is a kitchen that takes pride in producing your food from scratch. From toasting & grinding our own spice blends, to baking buns daily, to grinding our own burger blend in house, we believe that the care we put into your food represents our mission statement as a company at large. Not only is Omar’s Bistro a place where our community can feel at home, but it is a place where we can collaborate on vocational training for those in need. We hope our food makes you feel as good as our mission makes us and please say hello next time you stop by!

What an incredible hidden gem for delicious quick eats! On top of being tucked away in a comics shop, the food came out looking delectable and tasting like it too.
We each got burgers, which were cooked with a medium well juiciness and a flavorful, smash-style sear. The fries had satisfying crunch and appeared hand cut style.
Maybe the most pleasant surprise was the sauces. Omar’s has a house-made take on ketchup, a tad runnier with vibrant tomato taste, and our burgers included a BBQ (on the Outlaw) and a garlic aioli. As a native Texan, I was impressed at the complexity of the BBQ sauce — smoky, peppery, some sweetness, and a hearty thickness great for dipping and spreading.
The staff was super courteous and patient as we made up our minds, and they checked on customers to make sure we all had everything we needed.
We can’t wait to come back to try more of the menu. Thanks, Omar’s!

Omar’s Bistro is an excellent example of what a business that truly values its customers looks like. When I walked into Omar’s I was greeted with a smile by all staff members. I couldn’t decide what to get, so the cashier kindly recommended three of his favorite items from the menu. Then when I was leaving, all staff members smiled and wished me a good afternoon. Additionally, the restaurant had photos and information about Omar, the restaurant’s owner, that helps customers feel more connected to the business.
The food came out quickly (within 5-10 minutes) and tasted 100% freshly made. My burger was juicy and flavorful and the fries were crisp and perfectly salted. Also, for the price the portion was huge ( I paid $15 for my burger with tax).
Thanks Omar for a great meal! I love that you have a restaurant and a comic book store all in one; such a wonderful idea and way to promote community here in Lexington! I’ll definitely be back again!

The burgers we had were good but not as great as I would have imagined given the reviews. Taste was sort of bland. We could taste the fresh ingredients and the house made ketchup was great. I was hoping the ghostbuster had some sort of heat but it was very bland.
Service was excellent and the atmosphere was very kid friendly.

Come here frequently to buy cards and games with my daughter. Staff is kind, knowledgeable, and always happy to help. Food was way beyond what I expected! Im looking forward to coming back another time to try something else on the menu!

Got the DM burger with the Poutine X. The food was delicious and was a really great portion. I didn’t need to finish it all, but I couldn’t stop myself because it was so good.
Fries are thin cut, and they’re served with a homemade ketchup that’s excellent as well. You can tell they’re using quality ingredients for everything. And their soda fountain is Maine Roots! Strongly recommend

Scratch cooking and I am impressed! Located in/above the game store. Came in for lunch and called ahead with our order. Also saw a group order at the main register, then walk upstairs for seating (there’s also a register there, but it wasn’t staffed the whole time for Wednesday lunch).

I order delivery from here fairly frequently and it always is fantastic. Great food and really creative takes on dishes. Check out the rotating specials, there are some great things that they make. Mozzarella, fig, and arugula on a double patty burger is just another great and creative take that they have as a rotating special.
