Omar’s Beach Hut had a beautiful, laid-back atmosphere right by the water. The parking was an ease and there was no wait to be seated. We sat in the shade with a nice island breeze, which made it such a relaxing place to eat. The staff was friendly, and Omar himself even came out to greet us, which was a really nice touch.
The food was very good overall. The wings were tasty but definitely overpriced (over $3 per wing). The drinks were good as well, though on the pricier side. The shrimp and fries were delicious and very filling. The shrimp looked and tasted hand battered and delish. The jerk fish wrap was excellent—easily one of the best dishes we’ve had so far in our first couple days on the island.
As it got darker, they brought out table lamps for every table, which added a really nice ambiance. The vibe here is great—relaxed, scenic, and welcoming.
This would be a wonderful spot for lunch or dinner if you’re looking for something laid-back with good food and a great atmosphere. While most places on the island are expensive due to imports, this one felt worth it for the experience. I would definitely recommend Omar’s Beach Hut.

Omar’s is always delicious. Got the battered chicken wings for the first time and they were really great! Conch fritters were great as always! Fish tacos were great. The jerked lobster is always out of this world and they pull the tail out of the shell so you don’t;t make a big mess. Thanks for your hospitality as always Omar!

Such a great place! Prices are no different than any other place on the island. Food was delicious and fresh. We were personally greeted by Omar, making sure everything was perfect…which was a nice touch.
Apparently the tide goes on and out every 8 hours….and the tide was out when we arrived. I thought the view was amazing.

Great recommendation by our villa office team. The food was good. Our dietary needs for shellfish and gluten allergies were attended. The seating on the patio on a nearly full moon was simply beautiful. We enjoyed the lobster roll, cracked lobster, goat curry and foil roasted red snapper.

It’s one of those places. The best part was the view and the dj. He is fun! The service was not good. It was like we were inconveniencing her. It is a tourist spot for sure. So be prepared to wait a very long time. We had an ordered drinks and they came out halfway through our meal. When we went to pay for our food, we had to put down a different server in order to do that.

Updated: on our second visit food and service were excellent. Older review: Food was great but service was slow, inconsistent, and lacking basic attention that made the whole experience not so enjoyable. Atmosphere and view were outstanding.
