I absolutely love the vibe of this place. It has a timeless, old-school charm that feels like stepping back a few decades. The seating isn’t fancy and the artwork on the walls hasn’t changed in years, which gives it a nostalgic, slightly run-down feel, but in the best way possible. This is a place that Anthony Bourdain would consider a classic American lunch spot.
Everything about this restaurant matches that character: the food is classic, comforting, and consistently delicious; the staff are friendly and genuine, making the experience even better. I’ve beenq here multiple times now and it’s become my go-to lunch spot. So far, I haven’t been disappointed and I don’t expect to be any time soon!

I haven’t had Olympics for a while and have been really wanting a Olympic Sub! Last time I had one it was delicious!! My son went. He brought me back a Lg. Ham & provolone sub. Mike definitely didn’t make this sub!! No meat on the bottom like Mike does! It had to much pepper! I was wondering where the pickles were!! Mike didn’t make this sub. Mike makes the best Subs! I won’t be getting anymore food from Olympics unless Mike is there, he knows what he is doing!! Satisfying his customers!! I don’t know who made my sub but he needs training!!

They STAY busy and I love it! The same consistent tasting food since I first visited in my very early adulthood (I am in my 50s now). The Nigerian Sub is my FAVORITE!!!! There’s no pork on it but it has corned beef, roast beef, turkey, and I think Pastrami?? Whatever it is, it slaps!! If you don’t like a packed sandwich, DO NOT eat here!! I am such a FAN!!!!! I live in Atlanta now but when I visit Delaware, that’s my first stop!!!

Best hoagie I’ve had in Delaware. The meats are fresh and sliced nice and thin. Toppings super fresh too

About 15 years ago, I asked a friend “who’s got the best cheesesteaks in town?” He said Olympics. I’ve been going here for my cheesecakes ever since. This place, arguably, has the best cheesesteak in the city of Wilmington. So truthfully, I don’t have much to compare it to because I don’t go anywhere else.
Now, the atmosphere. It’s not an eat in spot. Yes, they have a few tables but I think they are more for waiting for your food. There is not much to say on atmosphere here. Its mostly a
The service is meh. Folks aren’t real friendly. In 15 years I have never been greeted warmly. I am not sure how to explain their customer service. It’s like non existent but not in an offensive way. It’s like there’s no extra effort put into greeting customers: no hello/greeting, no smile, no thank you, no a pleasant tone, no excitement, no energy, no emotion. It just meh and blah. But the cheesesteaks make the meh and blah service easy to overlook. Oh, and plan to grab chips elsewhere cause theirs are high to the sky!!

The sub was pretty decent with a good amount of meat. They seem to have missed the onion in both sandwiches that were ordered. Service was medium in pace, and only reasonably friendly.

I’m a native New Yorker, and this place crushes the sub competition in Wilmington. No one else is better. And the cook Russell is the prime reason why.

I’m a native of Wilmington leaving in Virginia for more than 40 years. Best subs and steaks I have ever had. When ever I come home, I have standing requests to bring sandwiches (prepared to travel) back. Love this place. Harold
