Mom and pop establishment. Neighborhood diner, nothing fancy. A quaint throwback in time please. Everyone knows your name thing.

Overall – 2 Stars – The food was not good.
Food – 2 Stars – The food was inedible. The French toast was undercooked. Raw eggs. Yuck. The coffee was the only decent thing.
Ambiance – 3 Stars – The place was drab. Nothing interesting inside. Kind of looks like a diner time forgot.
Price – 2 Stars – The food was definitely not worth the price.
Service – 3 Stars – The service was good. The servers were polite and very prompt.

Ill say it! Bob (head chef) makes one of the best breakfast in Delaware County.
The service is always great here, it’s clear that many locals frequent this place every day and are on a first name basis with the staff. It has a friendly, small town feel.
I have pancakes, eggs, sausage and home fries every time I go and it’s always cooked to order quickly and DELICIOUS. I love that the pancakes just melt in your mouth!
Great portion size and extremely affordable. I’ll be back again and again!

Reminds me of the diners my parents used to take me to as a kid. Great atmosphere and even better food.

The vibes are perfect, and I shouldn’t have ordered the burger. The breakfast food is the highlight of this place.
Service: my kid was bouncing in the booth and making the seat squeak and our waitress *told* them to stop. It was magical.

Good Afternoon Google Family!!! I visited The Olympic Diner for the first time. I have passed by this restaurant a gazzillion times and I decided to stop in today on Monday, the 4th of July. I did not expect it to be open, since many places are closed on the holiday. They open up at 6:30 AM and they close round about 3 PM. They are open 7 days a week, with the same hours. They were closed for a time, during the height of the pandemic, since there was a mandate about eating places being closed until the Corona Virus calmed down a little bit. During that time, they conducted take out services. I went in the door and a wonderful lady greeted me. I asked if they were open and the lady said yes and I proceeded to ask for a menu. I ordered a waffle with turkey sausage links to go and then I changed my mind and I decided to eat at the table. I eat fast and so I was out of there in a jiffy. I was enchanted by the ambiance and decor of the place. They had a pay phone near the restrooms. I had not seen one of them in years and Elaine the owner, said it still worked. Amazing!! They also had the vending machines where you get the prizes ( stuffed animals or candy) if you manipulated the machine correctly. I was never good at those machines, LOL. I always tried them and no luck!! Also they had jukeboxes ( the old timey ones) at the individual booths and believe it or not, I asked Elaine if they worked and she said yes. They played CD’s. Amazing again!!! I enjoyed the company of Elaine, the owner and Susie, an employee, who had worked there over twenty years. Susie was gracious enough to take a picture of Elaine and I. I enjoyed my time and experience there on the 4th of July. Yes, my waffle and turkey sausage links were delicious and the cost was about $10.44 and I had a hot chocolate as a beverage. I will definitely return. Have a good day, Google Family!!! Until the next review!!

We were excited to try this cute little authentic diner! I just moved into this neighborhood and was thrilled to have a diner we could walk to.
We’ve decided now that this is an ideal place for retirees to hang out and socialize. Which is exactly what the staff specializes in 🙁
The topper was when my partner asked for a coffee refill, and the coffee was brought out and sat on the counter, and then walked away from. Coffee was really weak, too.
I was looking forward to tasting the pancake I ordered, but it never made it to the table. The home fries were delicious, though.
No greeting when we walked in, no “how is everything?”, “ more coffee hun?”, nada.
I would try again in case they were having an unusually rough day, but I’ve served at a restaurant for over 20 years and this was disappointing.
I’m a very patient and reasonable consumer. I’ve worked in customer service and teaching for years.
I’m hoping that maybe the regular staff had off today and the subs were inexperienced?

I loved the looks and the tastes of the dishes but the service is definitely old fashioned as far as care and love and speed! Nothing against anyone but I felt there could be more charm in the workers! It was very clean and well kept in here though! Will bring my family back here to dine in!
