Very nice food. The bread was fresh, moist and good, and the EVOO was in good quality.
The cheese ravioli in pesto was pretty good, though the cheese in the ravioli was a bit dull.
The caprese salad was surprisingly smal (see pic). My partner’s pasta was good.
The service was very good.

Backlit menus! What a great idea to have in a sometimes dimly lit restaurant (especially when you have older eyeballs). Had reservations, bread was there when we arrived and was delicious. Dipped it in the olive oil. Ordered drinks and had them almost immediately. Had Kona in the bottle. Rare. Then ordered appetizers (try the fried provolone if they have it), and dinners. I had the chicken florentine (which was a special), and I ate every bite. I normally save some for leftovers the next day but not this time. Chicken alfredo’s sauce was super dense but tasty. ONLY complaint was that it got very busy and noisy (which isn’t a bad thing at all for a small town restaurant). However, that left our very nice waitress super busy and it took awhile to get our checks. Otherwise I highly recommend. Three drinks, appetizer, two meals and under $100 is hard to find these days, especially when the food is so good. We’ll be back for sure.

The drinks were definitely the highlight of the night—well-made and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the food and service didn’t match the same level. The pasta tasted boxed and overpriced, and the sauce leaned far too sweet for my taste. The staff overall wasn’t very impressive, and what really stood out was watching a waitress simply flip over a used tablecloth instead of replacing it with a clean one. To make it worse, the new glasses were placed upside down directly on the table—completely unsanitary. Not the kind of details you expect when paying higher prices.

Encore checks all the boxes for a delightful dining experience. The intimate casual elegance with a New York City vibe invites you in. The combination of delicious food (seafood salmon, and mushroom ravioli), reasonable prices, and top notch service by our server Lindsey makes us look forward to a return visit. It was a well appreciated touch to have the owner stop by our table for a chat to see if everything was satisfactory.

Our first experience at Encore but not our last! This spot just opened and did not disappoint. The food was delicious and the service was great. Everyone was friendly and attentive. I recommend the Arancini for an appetizer and my teenager said the chicken Alfredo was the best food he has had in a long time. Great addition to the restaurant options in Jamestown!

So far I’ve had a chicken dish and a salmon dish. Both were great! This is the perfect place to gather with family. The drink menu is super fun!
