Olympia Coney Island in Westland is truly a local gem! I recently attended a Chamber networking event there, and the atmosphere was welcoming from the moment I walked in.
Matt, the owner, is open, friendly, and genuinely makes you feel at home. The staff was fantastic — attentive, kind, and on top of everything even with a full house. You can tell this is a place that values community.
Great food, great service, and a wonderful environment for both dining and connecting. I highly recommend stopping in. You’ll be glad you did!

They have an Eggs Benedict on the menu and it’s great. The price is higher than a typical coney but it is well worth it. The portions are huge and they have amazing and higher end menu items that aren’t typically available. Raises the bar on a coney experience!

If I could go less than one, I would, I should’ve listened to the reviews, which are all very poor. Do not order here I DoorDash $60 worth of food and I got less than 20% of the food I ordered and their compensation was 25 whole dollars back from DoorDash. I highly do not recommend it. It’s one thing to be missing one item now I’m sitting here with people that are starving and need to eat and don’t have food!

Excellent service, and large portions.
We usually go to the Brownstown location, and were in the area, so I ordered carry out on our way home.
I was happy the quality, and consistency of what we normally order, was the exact same as the Brownstown location.
We got large Chicken Greek Bowls (grilled chicken Greek Salad), chicken lemon rice soup, and a spinach pie.
Everything was delicious!

If you’re looking for great food, you should definitely stop by this amazing restaurant. They make the best fish and chips ever! Today we enjoyed breakfast. I’m not a fan of hash browns, but these were the best I’ve ever tasted. The pancake recipe is delicious. I also ordered the sausage and biscuits. The server said it was delicious and I was not disappointed. It has that perfect old-time grandmother made sausage gravy. It leaves you wanting more. Everyone in the restaurant was kind. The prices were really great and the portions were huge.

I’d leave a 0 star if I could. Their hours say 9 yet when I went with my kids at 8:20 the “manager” some young rude girl said they were closed to dine in and carry out only. Wonder why everyone I know always hates going here. Spend your money somewhere else who actually wants your business and appreciates their customers. I hope this place closes soon so let a better business move in.

The food was terrible. I was still eating my food though. The waiter instantly got upset at me and my daughter because my daughter specifically asked for fresh strawberries on top of her pancakes but instead they smothered the pancakes in strawberry syrup which made my daughter not want them and we politely told her.

Very friendly staff. The food was good. I’ve had much better there before (order the same thing each time), and the sandwich quality just hasn’t been as good the last few times ) that is why it is a 4 star. I do love their onion rings and the family love their fries. I think it is great they use a local family dairy’s ice cream for their desserts/shakes, but we didn’t really care for the taste of the two we tried. The shake tasted freezer burned but it was from a pretty new carton, and the superman was very different than what we are used to.

I ordered from here because L George’s was closed. Over priced and the food is severely lacking in flavor. Fries were undercooked and so were the hashbrowns even though I specifically asked for well done. Extremely disappointing. Save your money and go to L George’s instead.

Love Olympic love the services and the staff but the broated chicken is not as good as it used to be. It’s completely unseasoned. It’s cooked to perfection but some salt and pepper on the chicken will make it a whole lot better.
