It’s a nice place, not as obnoxiously loud as I anticipated it to be after reading other reviews. The food is delicious, I had the De Birria tacos, and they certainly did not disappoint, they were fantastic, but four tacos and a beer for 30 bucks… not worth it.

Ill start by saying that the service was great. The staff are very welcoming. Came in as a party of 6 and was promptly greeted when we were sat. Chips and salsa were put on the table as our drink order was taken. Salsa was good, queso was great, chips fresh.
The teamwork was really good with the staff. Had a gentleman bring us our food, server checked in often and wasnt overbearing, and an older lady helped clear the table as we finished up.
Here’s what I wasnt happy about, the gratuity of about 15% at the end and a Mexican coke is 5$ and some change. I know times are hard but cmon now, 5$? In all my bill was just over 23$ with a drink and enchiladas. The food portions were unbalanced. There was a large portion of rice and the beans were really lacking. The food was alright, not impressive. Was it worth 23$? No.
Now on to the gratuity. Maybe im mistaken but there arent any signs stating the party limit it applies to or percentage. We werent told there was a gratuity at any point. That’s a little odd. Now, im not cheap when it comes to good service, even if the food sucks. 20-25% is my usual baseline. But I feel like they were sneaky with the gratuity. Its on the customer reciept at the bottom, which is tucked away nicely in the left pocket of the book. The rest of the guys at my table didnt know it was added. Maybe it wasnt intentional, but it rubbed me the wrong way.
I feel like there are much better Mexican restaurants with better pricing in the area. But, thats just my opinion. Won’t be returning here.

Excellent Spicey Menudo. The service sold me more. Our waitress was the bomb.She was articulate, professional, and personable. She treated us like we were VIP’s. The menu was the best I have seen in Midland.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding the unacceptable experience my daughter had at your restaurant. She visited your establishment expecting a pleasant meal, yet instead was met with unprofessional behaviour from both a staff member and the manager.
According to my daughter, an employee began speaking to her in a rude and confrontational manner over a simple misunderstanding. Instead of resolving the issue calmly and respectfully, the staff member raised their voice and escalated the situation. What is even more troubling is that the manager who should set the standard for professionalism chose to argue with her rather than step in to de-escalate and provide proper customer service.
My daughter was left feeling disrespected, embarrassed, and completely shocked that a restaurant of your standard would allow such behaviour. As someone who expects quality service especially from an establishment that prides itself on its reputation this incident is unacceptable.
I would appreciate a prompt explanation as to why this situation occurred, what actions will be taken to address this behaviour, and how you intend to ensure that no other customer has a similar experience.

Food absolutely amazing, but when they put in my payment the night of they added a 10$ tip after I already tipped 5$ which was not deserved, I tipped because I understand people work for a living and I’ve bartended and served my whole life, but that’s unacceptable I’ve waited 3 weeks for my refund and my phone number has been blocked. I have worked my butt off to enjoy a meal with my wife after we have struggled for years and we chose this establishment to eat and and again the food was amazing. I would have gladly tipped the chef but we all know the waitress received the 10$ that was STOLE FROM ME and was not deserving.

The menudo was sensational as always! This is one of the few places I have been to that serves menudo with buttered bread. I am from San Angelo and they only offer tortillas (Menudo is terrible). The menudo had a spicy kick to it this time but I loved it. I also got a egg and brisket burrito and it was delicious! The service was great!

Server is polite and attentive. Extremely greasy. I Got a torta and fries; it came on a plain hamburger bun with 5lbs of mayo, beef fajita was flavorless and rubbery. Used dirty oil on French fries. Taco Bell would’ve been better. Overpriced and gross food 7/17 update will give you food poisoning stay away

Loved it! Attentive wait staff, excellent food and friendly atmosphere!
I went with a group of people, and my drink was never empty. Not once did we have to look for our waitress, and everyone’s food came out quickly … and it was all correct!

Food was terrible, service bad. My husband ordered a chicken enchilada, it was a soft taco with shredded chicken, nothing else. And they said that was the way they made enchiladas?? None of our food was right and they charged extra for a flour tortilla for quesadillas, which only came with one. They could really have cared less about us being there as customers.
