We are down from Alaska to visit family. After dinner we were hungry for some ice cream and thought we would try this place. Both the hard and soft ice cream were delicious with generous servings. I highly recommend Olsen’s Ice Cream.

Happened across this gem by complete chance while passing through town. Had Tenders, fries and creemees. The tenders were home made and crispy like no other. Fries golden, crispy outside and soft inside. Creemee was sweet, subtle and perfect for a summer day. The owner is one in a million, stopped to talk with everyone there, loves what he does and it shows. Kids at the window were very friendly and service was quick! Hope to cross paths again!

Authentic Vermont ice cream stand serving generous portions of really good ice cream at really good prices. I had strawberry cheesecake and southern peach. Both had lots of real fruit and there was a nice amount of tasty crust (real graham crackers) in the strawberry cheesecake. My wife had wild blueberry and it was delicious. The ice cream itself tasted and had the texture of real home made. We are so glad we stopped!

Got a Viking size maple creemee for 2. Would’ve been enough for 4-5 lol. Delicious, deep maple flavor. Great music and great vibes.

We’ve been going here since I was a kid, my Grandma used to take me ages before it was Olsen’s. The place that was there before went out years ago, and plenty have tried re-opening it, but no one was successful except for Olsen’s! I’m so happy and thankful to him for keeping this place going! He & and his staff are always so kind, happy, and polite, the ice cream is great! They’ve really given this place the TLC it deserves, The local school kids even got to decorate it a bit, and it’s amazing seeing it so well loved. I honestly can not recommend it enough.

Their Marquis gives a price then when you get to the window to order they charge you more and say it’s an upcharge bc they add extra stuff to the creemee. Shouldn’t the price on the Marquis board reflect that? Will NEVER return

I came to Vergennes from New Jersey for the eclipse and we stopped at Olsen’s ice cream while we waited for totality. They are easily one of my top 3 favorite ice cream shops. The maple creemee was absolute perfection, and they went above and beyond to accommodate my boyfriend’s tree nut allergy. We watched them sanitize the soft serve machine and even open a new package of sprinkles just for us to prevent any cross contamination. I would make the 6 hour drive from Jersey again just to come here!
