Omaha lines up for Olsen Bake Shop even when it’s single digits!!!! Olsen’s deserves it all. We’ve had a lot of donuts, and none of them come close to Olsen’s cake donut. Crispy on the outside & moist on the inside; they’re absolutely perfect. These are the local places that need all our love!!! Simply the best!!!!

the donuts are the best in omaha. you have to show up early to get the best variety bc they go fast. these are classic donuts, along with pastries, cookies and whatever amazing thing the ladies cook up! great atmosphere and they remember me when i come in.

I got there around 8am on a Wednesday morning and there were about 5 people ahead of me. Everyone ordered at least a half dozen items, although I only left with a glazed croissant and a coconut toffee cookie. Paid $2.25 in cash (they take credit card with a small added fee) and proceeded to inhale the cookie. It was delicious!!! I enjoyed the glazed croissant too but it was a tad bit too sweet for me. They certainly pair perfectly with a cup of coffee.

It was our first time there and the older women working was very rude and inpatient when we asked any questions about the donuts. There were also a lot of flies locked up in the cabinet. Donuts were pretty good even though all the flies grossed us out, but regardless the service will keep us from going back! We were there a couple months ago just now got around to leaving the review.
