The food was incredible! Definitely getting food worth the cost. Service was great too; we were presented with a free sample that also was incredibly tasty. Very friendly waiters and a fine dining atmosphere.

This place just opened but it was fabulous and I want other people to patronize it! I went with friends and we all got pasta dishes. Mine was quite al dente (but I like it that way) and the flavors were great, and the others all liked theirs as well. It’s a little pricier than other restaurants in Ball Square, so would be great for a date night. The ambiance is cozy, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. They also have a bar that I hope to visit once they get their liquor license (in process).

Outstanding food. The entire food is homemade with care and taste. Dishes are prepped at the last minute. This is real Italian cuisine as you would have in a good restaurant in in Italy. You will find real Italians traditional dishes. It is not a tourist place as you would have North end with the same dishes.

I’ve met Chef Simona at her culinary classes at Dante Aligheri Society and was super excited that she was opening her restaurant in Somerville.
We visited on her opening night and even though it’s her first weekend night, I couldn’t ask for a better experience! We started with gorgeous appetizer of Carpacio, Truffle and Salted Cod. We had the tortellini and pasta with guanciale and pistachio (flavor combination that is out of this world). We had a pork wrapped in bacon for our second course and had Simona’s unique take on tiramisu and Lavender flan for desserts.
If you live in Somerville, PLEASE check this place out. You’ll have a dinner you won’t soon forget!

I can’t recommend this place highly enough. We were a group of six and we ordered about a dozen different things all together and everyone was delighted with the food. The plates were beautiful and the food delicious, from the mushroom tart and cauliflower appetizers to a variety of entrees, including a rich truffle gnocchi, excellent homemade spaghetti with tomato and basil, and delicious bolognese and frutti di mare pastas. It’s quite something to do so many different things so well. The desserts were also excellent!
Service was attentive and very friendly throughout the well. Actually, more than friendly – they were fun, making jokes, speaking in Italian, taking photos of us, and bringing out all of the staff to introduce themselves to celebrate my dad’s birthday.
Finally, they did a great job with the decor, which is classy and fun.
We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Maybe the best food inSomerville! We are so excited a fine dining establishment has come to Ball Square and it did not disappoint! Excellent service, lovely bar, and delicious food! Everything that came to the table was delightful, but the outstanding star of the night was the truffle gnocchi. Freshly homemade by the the owners wife, these pillow light bites of heaven are worth dreaming about! My only suggestion is maybe add a chocolate desert for us chocoholics!

We have stopped in for brunch twice now. We plan on going again and again and again. Such warm greetings when we enter! Food is magnificent! The crostini, the cacio e pepe, the pastries! Delicioso! Ball Sq has a fantastic new addition to the square!
