12/30/25: Thought we’d try a local restaurant we haven’t eaten at yet and found Olivia’s in Gettysburg. We were glad to see that it’s open until 10pm! Walking in the front door you see the bar, but to the right is the restaurant area. They had everything decorated for Christmas – very pretty. We were welcomed warmly and seated immediately. Our waitress was friendly and professional. She knew the menu well. It’s a Mediterranean restaurant and they have quite a variety of food choices. My husband chose the lasagna which came with soup or salad and garlic cheese bread. I chose the salmon which came with sautéed spinach, asparagus, and steamed broccoli. I couldn’t eat the smashed potatoes that came with it, so I asked for it on the side so my hubby could eat it. I also ordered a bowl of their Maryland Crab vegetable soup. They were very accommodating. Our food was delicious. I didn’t leave any on my plate! My husband was full halfway through his lasagna & so he had to say no to having dessert this time.
Definitely a great evening out and we recommend it highly! I look forward to returning in the future!

Olivia’s is a solid choice for lots of food in a comfortable atmosphere for a fair price.

Nothing is life changing-ly great, but it’s all Good.

Hummus and bread is served. The hummus is good and still has whole chick peas in it. The bread is plentiful.

The stuffed flounder, crab imperial and seafood in general is all similarly prepared. Over-stuffed and topped with cheese.

The sides are garlic potatoes and stalks of broccoli.

Salads are big. The servings are big.

Good drink selection.

Have been before and will go again.

The lamb chops are good.

I must begin by saying that the hummus was delicious, and the toasted bread paired perfectly with it. My husband ordered a gyro, which not only was a generous portion but also came with a tasty soup. The Greek salad is served inside a large piece of bread, but I opted to have it without the bread since I knew I wouldn’t eat much of it. Every ingredient in the salad was fresh, making it very enjoyable.

Our waitress was friendly and attentive, which added to our wonderful experience.

Just tried Olivia’s for the first time, and everything was amazing. The dolmades were the best we’ve ever had, and the bread came with delicious homemade hummus. The meatball with spaghetti was huge, and the crab and spinach kopita was full of crab. Excellent food and mixed drinks, and service was fantastic! Highly recommend!

My friends and I (large group) tried this place for the first time last weekend, and we loved it! Our server was Ava, and she was sweet, hard working, and just plain awesome! Their menu is expansive and unique) in many ways. (I.e Thai meatballs, chocolate sauerkraut cake ) At the end, we asked them to choose an assortment of cakes for all of us to sample. Everything was delicious – you’ve got to try this place!

I just had the best meal possibly ever. Everything was cooked to perfection. We had the surf and turf, which was lamb chops and scallops over a mushroom risotto. As you can see from the pictures the lamb and scallops were cooked perfectly. There was a slight char on the edges of the lamb, which was juicy and tender on the inside. Scallops usually make me nervous as I know they’re difficult to cook just right. Well, the chef at Olivia’s is highly competent and talented. Apparently Olivia’s has a regular spot on a local TV channel. I hope I can find them online, because I want to learn to cook like this!

Even before the main course came, we had the best tender chic peas in their beautiful homemade hummus and home made bread. We also had the Maryland crab soup which was absolutely delicious. I knew the main dish wouldn’t have much veggies, but I didn’t want a salad tonight, so I opted for a veggie filled soup and was not disappointed. The flavors were just perfect. Imagine a light tomato broth with fresh vegetables.

I must tell you that my husband had an earlier dinner meeting at another restaurant, so I ended up ordering the meal at Olivia’s. Even though he was already full, my husband helped me with my meal and we both just marvelled at the flavors.

I had the peach mule which again was perfect. Not too sweet, but sweet enough. It was refreshing.

And for dessert, we had the choclava, which is a chocolate covered Boston cream ball over a hearty serving of baklava. Again, very delicious, but beware it is quite sweet.

Olivia’s is our favorite place now in Gettysburg.

It’s been a while since I’ve eaten here for some dumb reason. It’s always been great and this last time I went there was a magician and live music. It was all pretty awesome. Definitely 5 out of 5. And I hope I get back sooner than my last visit

The menus for both drinks and food are broad with very attractive selections , although I chose my entree from a large number of specials on offer. The appetizers were excellent and, had we ordered four instead of three, would have satisfied our party of five. Unfortunately, after our entrees, none of use could attempt any of the excellent desserts displayed near the front door. I will definitely return for another round soon!

I happened to run across this place because I had to meet someone around Gettysburg.

The menu is vast and also has a very large bar. My wife and I decided to split a dish because we went there for lunch.

I ordered the French Onion soup with was made to perfection. It was just amazing so if you are into soups, definitely try this.

We ordered the spaghetti on a bread bowl for lunch and told our server to just give me an extra plate. Let me tell you the portion that was provided for lunch could have easily fed 3 grown adults. We could NOT finish it. The staff was so considerate that they provided half portions already divided up on two plates. This is a very small thing but goes a long way and shows they actually care for their customers..

It’s a huge restaurant and the staff is just amazing. They have countless selections and it is a Mediterranean restaurant so their humus is awesome as well. They specialize in Greek cuisine.

Even though I never come to this area, because it is almost an hour and half away from me, I will definitely be coming back to try their other dishes.

Highly recommended!!! Also, forgot to mention the price is very reasonable for the portions they provide.

Their gyros are the WORST I’ve ever had. And trust me, I’ve had many gyros around here and in other cities. But I’ve never seen a gyro where the meat is served as dried patties, barely there chopped tomatoes and onions. The pita was over grilled and cooked with cheese so you have this hard cheese stuck to it. The whole thing was messy and crumbly. I picked it apart. This is actually my leftovers from dinner last night with friends who were visiting from DC. But I only took a few bites and packed the rest. Horrible. In addition, the restaurant is gross. It’s unclean, the tables and booth seats are crooked and terribly uncomfortable. They’re like old bench seats that decline so your butt sinks backwards, but the gap between the seat and table was way too wide. You had to slide up to the edge to be able to eat at the table. The restroom was badly maintained and unkept. The toilet seat is broken and loose, the floor was wet, and the hot water for the sink doesn’t work. There’s no attention to quality here at all. What really baffles me is the prices. The lowest price for a dish is $19! Even the appetizers are the same price. For a restaurant that charges $32 for an entree, I expect them to do better in terms of execution. There are plenty of other restaurants that are casual dining but are cleaner and well kept. I would not recommend this place for these reasons.
