Olives & Peppers is one of the rare Italian restaurants that serves both great food and large portions! Quality is not at all sacrificed even with a lot of quantity!
My husband and I went on a whim on a Friday night, and since we didn’t have a reservation (would definitely recommend a reservation if you’re able to plan in advance!), we were estimated a 30 minute wait but got seated under 15 minutes for just 2 people.
Our waiter, Logan, was stand-out. He made some great recommendations for a first time visit, and was very aware of everything happening around him so that his timing was perfect with refills and check-ins. Truly a great and interactive personality too, we so appreciated him!
We got quite a sampling of dishes with so many yummy sounding options on the menu. We shared chicken parm, vodka cretino with a meatball, a small traditional pizza with pepperoni, and then we each had a side of wedding soup, plus bread and butter! Everything was delicious, and we especially loved the flavor in the vodka sauce. The meatball is giant (like softball sized) and very tender and yummy. The chicken parm was good, very impressive portions with what we think was four chicken breast halves fried up, but the breading was a bit soggy from the sauce, so not the crispiest chicken parm ever, but still good. The pizza was also good, not the best we’ve ever had, but still enjoyable, and the pepperoni has a great flavor. The homemade stock in the wedding soup makes a big difference, I could’ve just had a vat of the broth and been satisfied, but as an additional big positive, they have a good amount of mini meatballs in the soup too. We took home plenty of leftovers, and Logan even brought us a small loaf of bread to-go when we asked for a bit more for the road (the bread with the vodka sauce is truly the best).
I’m already eager to dig into our leftovers AND make a return trip, hopefully bringing friends with us next time. If you’re looking for good Italian food, Olives & Peppers is worth the stop!

This was my first time here. We had a reservation for 5 for lunch. They placed us in a nice corner table with privacy. The wait staff was on top of everything and quick and efficient. The food quality was excellent and abundant. Prices were terrifically fair. Honestly, this is one of the best local even regional restaurants I have been to in the greater Pittsburgh area. Do not hesitate to try it. Lots of easy parking in the lot. Saw some families with young children there enjoying themselves. There is a lot of rooms in this place for people of all ages to find the right table to suit their needs. Looks like wheelchairs would have no problems, but I would call to confirm my hunch. Make your reservation now.

I have eaten here before. Amazing food. I ordered take out because my grand kids were with me. While the taste of the food is c exceptional, I ordered the seared salmon salad. When I ate at the restaurant, the salmon was huge. Take out portion. Not so much. It was rather small for $22.00 other than that..beautiful..

First of all, they serve Stateside Vodka. It is the best & highly recommend it. Service & food was amazing. Had the Romano chicken which was soooo good! The Italian Wedding soup is almost as good as my mom used to make – not kidding ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The food was not very good. It was a holiday menu. My husband ordered prime rib and I ordered pasta with chicken in a vodka sauce. My sauce was like soup and didn’t taste very good and the pasta was big thick chunks. My husband didn’t think the prime rib tasted very good. Only saw our waitress once. We were never offered refills on our drinks and weirdly therd is no dessert menu. We definitely dk t recommend this place. Not worth the money or time.

I wouldn’t hesitate to eat here. Been here twice and the food is excellent. TIP: If you do not like leftovers, split a meal between two or three people, otherwise you might be eating leftovers for days. Warning: Pizza red sauce is sweet. I know some people dislike that.

Another great dinner at Olives & Peppers! They treat you like family. Super busy but we had a booth in under 5 minutes. Different waitress than usual and she was perfect. Wedding Soup is the best. The strip steak is crazy good and so is the lasagna! We had a very nice time.

The food and drinks were wonderful! We sat at the bar cause we didn’t make a reservation for a Saturday (recommend reserving). The staff were all very kind and the vibe is awesome.

We were very pleased with our dinner at the Trafford location. We were seated right away, greated by our server immediately. My husband had the bruschetta and a special, sea bass and scallops over risotto with peas, excellent. We both had the wedding soup, very good and I had gnocchi with a meatball, very good, sauce was perfect. The only complaint was that the gnocchi were a little chewy, which may have just undercooked.
