Definitely one of the better locations to grab a quick sandwich or meal on campus. This location is a bit hard to find and not well advertised. If you enter the quad main entrance, follow the diagonal path to the left and pass under the two arches the path leads to, then Olives will be on your left. Plenty of outdoor seating here and usually not too long of a wait. The sandwiches are worth it, salmon is not. Most come with a salad too!

Disappointing. Boiled rice is not pilaf. It’s just boiled rice. Mashing a can of chickpeas does not make hummus. There’s salt, lemon, tahini, cumin and garlic in hummus. At least some salt. Gyro meat should be sliced thin, not in fist sized chunks. Sour cream is not tzaziki sauce. Terrible. Never again.

Fake Mediterranean food. The falafel patties look like they escaped from the freezer! They are too small too. The tahini sauce is off, too citrus. The shawarma spies are also off, I guess they use fajita spices in Shawarma! What they call Greek salad is nothing but low quality romaine lettuce with a drizzle of an awfully mixed vingarrette. I order a pasta and quinoa salad and asked if they can add some olive oil on top. Guess what? This so called Mediterranean restaurant has no olive oil bottle lying around. It is a shame.

It gets very busy, but the food is super top notch and the kitchen staff is always sweet and smiling – even if customers are annoying. Cashiers aren’t so friendly, but it’s not a huge factor to my experience
