I have tried to call this business for the past four days. They never answer their phone so if you want to order a birthday cake don’t use this business. They don’t have a voicemail because it’s full so I guess I’ll drive to Plainfield or Avon and buy the birthday cake. Dairy Queen relations rep replied and said they were so sorry about my experience. Please give them another chance so I picked up the phone and called they still don’t answer the phone. Their voicemail is full. It’s ridiculous. How does anybody get a birthday cake from them because if you want it decorated, you need to call ahead of time or order online and you can’t do either at Danville. Who has time to run to the Dairy Queen two or three times. Pass on this business.

I wish I could give zero or negative stars. Took forever in the drive thru, ordered a peanut buster parfait and 1. They completely overfilled the container, 2. Wouldn’t give me a lid 3. The actual container was cracked and ice cream spilled everywhere in my car. GARBAGE

Only went here because our regular ice cream shop was closed for the night. Ordered 2 blizzards, only had 1 person ahead in the drive thru and still waited 10 minutes. By the time we got to the window, the ice cream was melted and he didn’t turn either of them over. When I pointed it out to him for the free blizzard, he shut the window on me. Like I said, not our usual spot but not a great way to win new customers either.

One of the originals where you walk up to the window and the service was awesome so is the ice cream and it’s open all year long

I had received a peanut butter sauce Blizzard add Oreo (If I may add), and It was indubitably busting with flavor all in my mouth and tongue . Rich, creamy, and mixed so smooth it’d take the county blue ribbon I swear to god it would. Folks nowadays don’t always put that kind of care into things anymore but whoever spun up my Blizzard sure knew their onions! S/o Danville DQ for the real deal McCoy tonight

This is your typical dairy queen, however, crazy long, slow, lines in the drive thru, but that is expected when the place is small. What isn’t expected is to see the kids step out the back door to twerk and smoke vapes, which didnt smell like the nicotine type. The back door is right by the drive thru too and a bit ridiculous when the car line was down the street. They really need to be more selective on who they hire.

Placed an online order through the app. My card was charged, but when I went to pick up my order they were closed. 2 hours before their sign said. No way to cancel the order through the app. I’m out 20 dollars until tomorrow or whenever they credit my card the money. Treats are good, just wish they would notify the app they were closed.

Dairy Queen is always good. Only one person working window and drive thru and making everything. Did a great job when he could get to you. We had an add on item we didn’t order due to the situation. I felt for the guy. I imagine it’s hard to schedule for peak times so patience is a virtue when you need a DQ

I always love going here. It is just a block away from the square and always welcoming. They enjoy giving back to the community and creating memories. My favorite will always be the classic “strawberry cheesecake royal”

I’m changing my review from several years ago. Some of my recent orders have been wrong or unacceptable. I took my dog with me to get a pup cup. I ordered 3 items including the pup cup. The guy gave me, and I paid for, something called dog chow. I gave it back and he gave me what I ordered. Because they were busy, I did not ask for a refund. You owe me a blizzard or whatever I paid for. I’ve almost stopped coming here because this establishment….
