A complete dude for me. I love my steak houses and Jack Frys is usually my go to, but always trying new places. My mom and I ate there last night. The drinks were fine, a bit expensive for what you get. Atmosphere wise there really isn’t any. It’s a big box that can be loud with drunks that I assume had been gambling all night. It was only about half full but it took an hour for entrees. So dinner begins.

The salad was decent but my NY strip I ordered Medium rare came out charred so I cut through the center and it was Medium at best so I ask for a new steak. By the time the 2nd steak arrived my mom was al.ost done eating. Then the nightmare continued.

2nd steak I cut through the end and the fat was bone white so I cut through the center and it wasn’t hardly warm in the center. All the fat was unrendered, not clear and cooked but bright white and I even tried a bite because I can eat pretty bloody steaks, but there was no blood just a kinda raw steak. I can’t do raw and cold so I said what about a burger? They said it would be about 25 more mins. At this point we’d been there heading towards 2hrs. I said no thanks I’ll just eat these fries for dinner. They did remove my meal of course and were very apologetic but I don’t think I’d go back. It’s probably fine if your there to gamble to grab a bite, but not a top steak house. Its not on the level of Jack Frys, Ruby’s, Le Moo and many others.

I don’t know who was cooking steaks that night but to send out unrendered white fat is something ive never seen. I’d rather been at Outback.

So a bust for me without gambling, just a loss of appetite and time.

This is a great place to come and have a cocktail with an awesome bartender named Brandon. He suggested which wine to pair with our apps and shared us many facts about bourbon. Food is also outstanding and we even met Chef Alex who was super nice. It is rare to meet people that have such pride in their jobs and take time to actually have a conversation with the customer. Keep up the good work and don’t change a thing!

Such an amazing experience, Brandon, Chad, and Kudjo did such an awesome job at the bar, and Jones, Devin, Jessi, and all the other front of house staff did equaling as awesome. Our food was cooked perfect, and came out at just the right times. My 6oz steak was delish. Definitely will be coming back soon.

I had the pork chop and it was amazing. Service was perfect. I sat at the bar area and enjoyed some cocktails. This isn’t a budget place to eat but it is worth the money.

First time in. Had an appetizer crab fondue, it was really good. Home made bread was great. My son ordered a steak, Mac and cheese and fries. His was pretty good. Mine on the other hand I ordered the seafood plate, was really disappointed it was overly dry, lobster and shrimp. I sent it back ordered short ribs thinking you can’t go wrong, disappointed again the meat was mainly fat had about 1 half dollar size meat the rest fat. We split desert it was good no complaints there.

100% loved it!

Every staff member we spoke with was so helpful and kind – Brandon in the bar, our hostess, our waiter Brandon, Jones, and Chef Stacy, plus the rock-star kitchen staff – it’s clear by watching them all work, this is a TEAM!

Our steaks were cooked to perfection, our bread basket included a biscuit which made my Southern roots so happy, and my only regret was that I couldn’t eat that whole meal in one sitting. So yummy. Thank you everyone!

It was quiet in the restaurant as we got there, which made me a little concerned but the place did not disappoint. We enjoyed our oyster appetizers as well as the lobster bisque- the bread was done just right to offer a crispy but soft texture to boot. The tomahawk was good for the most part, just a little plain on the inside. Lobster was perfectly done.

There has been mixed reviews from friends – I would be willing to come back for round two.

Super Bowl Sunday, we had the house to ourselves. We arrived, immediately greeted with smiles, and led to our table. Our guest of honor was celebrating her (25th lol) birthday. Our server, Jacob was top notch. Professionally coursing our meals, while being sure not to waste a drop of wine. We are a very casual group, but even there, the top tier service didn’t waiver. Andrew, appearing to be the server assistant or in training, was quite attentive as well- being sure to keep our table cleared and ready for more with courteous conversation while topping off our water. The new head chef casually strolled by to make sure all was well, while introducing himself. The MOD was, and always has been, very pleasant in demeanor- allowing us to feel even more at home. While we finished up, a delicious pb pie was brought out to help celebrate the birthday. Nice touch! Thank you for your amazing birthday wishes! We made it out to the floor just in time to watch the halftime show… Jacob, and crew, still making us prioruty over an early close, being sure that our remaining wine was given, and our perfectly packaged take home bag was remembered. This is the 4th time in, it remains top of the list of a great fine dining experience. Thank you all! Ps… we highly recommend the carrots… yum!

The service we received from Carla was absolutely amazing. She is such a bright spot in your day. She loves to get to know her customers and has an impeccable memory. She knows I want a Riesling to start and a Malbec with my steak. She offers the crab cake because that’s our favorite appetizer. We’ve followed Carla from a previous place of employment because she’s that awesome!

This was the first time trying Oliver’s. There were definitely wins and a few small misses but I know they are easy fixes. The staff went out of the way to make sure the small things were corrected.

I did order a lemon drop martini that came with what I thought was a sugar rum. Unfortunately it was a sugar/salt mixture but Jones made sure to come apologize and Carla had a new one made.

The appetizers arrived quickly and were delicious. The meatballs were flavorful and those caramelized onions delightful. I could have went without the corn bread. I don’t feel like it brought any significance to the dish. Oysters were good but throw some more horseradish on there for us spicy people. I liked that the carpaccio was refreshing but really would have loved more sauce(maybe some grainy mustard). Last that crab cake was perfect. The sauce was flavorful and the cake was ALL crab. The little pieces that were caramelized along the edges were my favorite bites.

The bread came in between the apps and main entrees. The rolls were fabulous and had almost a pretzel type exterior but a warm, soft, and fluffy interior. I couldn’t decide on just one entree, so I ordered two. The bone-in ribeye and the scallops. The ribeye was cooked to my preference and the seasoning was spot on. I ate the entire thing which I never do. The steak was topped with roasted garlic which made it even better. Now to the star of the show, the scallops. I wish the dish had 10 of them on there because I would have eaten every single one. They were seasoned and seared, then placed on a red pepper puree. They were topped with Parmesan cheese and the dish highlighted bacon and micro shiso peppers as well. I couldn’t get enough. It was just that good.

We ended the night sharing just one dessert because we were full. It was the White Chocolate Cashew Mousse. The mousse was light and not overbearing. The flavor was quite lovely and I would order again. Carla made the entire night fantastic and I can’t wait to visit again.
