We had an amazing experience this evening. You have to make a reservation to be seated at Olivero, at this time. I made mine 6 weeks ago and took the first available. Our service was above and beyond. Our waitress, Sam, was so happy and enthusiastic about the offerings on the menu. We started with the beignet and had the Rigatoni with sausage and the Coal roasted sea bass for our entrées. Their smoked old fashioned and espresso martini were exceptional. We ended the meal with the most decadent chocolate and toasted marshmallow dish as well as the cheesecake with berry glaze. We were cared for like VIPs. The atmosphere is eclectic and inviting, with so much to take in. You won’t be disappointed, this is a Wilmington best in class restaurant experience. Kudos Olivero!!!!

The food was incredible – everything had perfect flavor profiles and we couldn’t get over the pasta or sauce. The Brussels were a favorite too. Plenty of options to choose from. Our server at the bar was wonderful as well.
The only negative we had – we made a reservation for two, months ago, but our seat was at the bar, I’ve never seen that before with a reservation and I could certainly see some folks upset about it. When you make a reservation, you expect a table or booth.
But due to the food being so good, we overlooked it.

5/5 stars! Definitely the best service in the Wilmington area. We dine out often and this is usually hard to come by. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. The dishes are unique and delicious! It’s a great “treat yourself” dining experience! Highly recommend the brussel sprout dish and lasagna!

Absolutely phenomenal meal. Had the warm dates, crab croquettes, and mortadella/fontina beignets as starters – all delicious (beignets were the most interesting/unique of the three). Had the roasted beets and crispy cauliflower for a salad course – the cauliflower was so good we ordered a second serving with our entrees. Had the agnolotti and grilled chicken thigh for our main course – both solid and the chicken may have been my favorite dish of the night. Had a panna cotta and a Basque cheesecake for dessert – both delicious but the cheesecake was the standout. Great beverage program, beautiful restaurant, attentive and friendly service. Overall 10 out of 10 experience – highly recommend.

I can honestly say this is the best restaurant I’ve ever been to. From the moment I walked in, everything felt thoughtful and welcoming. From the atmosphere, the service, and most importantly, the food. Every dish was prepared with such attention to detail, and the flavors were unforgettable. Each bite felt perfectly balanced, fresh, and made with care.
The staff went above and beyond, not only making sure everything was perfect at the table but also creating a warm and genuine experience. It wasn’t just a meal, it was something memorable. I left already looking forward to coming back.
If you’re looking for a place that truly sets the standard for excellent dining, this is it.

We had a fun girls’ night at Olivero. The restaurant seems to be very popular so it is encouraged to make reservations in advance. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and walked us through the different courses and even highlighted particular dishes that are favorites or stood out. Per the server’s recommendation, we chose to share plates for courses one and two. We enjoyed the crab croquettes and a green salad. For the dinner entrees, we chose the chicken and agnolotti. Fresh ingredients, made from scratch dishes, different items than what you might see on other menus… it was delish! I wish we had saved room for dessert but that will give us a reason to go back. We had a great experience!

We really love this restaurant. The drinks are outstanding, appetizers and pasta dishes are unique and tasty. We have always had great service. The desserts are so good we usually do not order desert but we always get one here! It’s a great date night option. The overall dinner for two with drinks appetizer and dessert was about $125 so prepare to spend money but the cost is worth it!

What an incredible place! Everything was fantastic from the food to the service and atmosphere. Highly recommend the Brussels and the bucatini (not pictured), but can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

First off let me say if this is your first time going at night leave a little earl. Parking is hard to find. Also there is no visible sign t night for the restaurant. Food was great, atmosphere was really nice. Overall we really enjoyed it. The only thing I didn’t like is do not let you change any of the sides that come with the meal. Not good if you have dietary restrictions.

I’d like to come back and try more dishes because many sound great! The atmosphere is very good, service is excellent, cocktails are delicious and the food is solid. My daughter loved her pasta and I liked my grilled sea bass. I should insert here that we own a restaurant and I’m a professional chef— so we are harsh critics. What kept me from ‘loving’ the sea bass was that the puttanesca sauce and toast spread with anchovy seemed a bit too aggressive for the delicate fish (I love anchovies so much, I eat them straight from the tin— it just felt a bit redundant here). We look forward to trying other dishes at Olivero, soon!
