Serving Fresh, Authentic Greek Meals Since 1980
Our original restaurant, The Old Olive Tree Restaurant, was opened on Long Island, New York, in 1980 by Aspasia and Ilias. It was the first Greek restaurant on the south shore of Long Island.
The Olive Tree Greek Grill, as we know it today, has been located at The Avenue Viera since 2014. Because of the restaurant’s amazing and loyal customers, we are building a new, free-standing location in Borrows West Viera!
Unfussy counter-serve Greek eatery offering a range of salads & falafel sandwiches.

First time here. The design/layout is a bit unique, and actually, a little confusing at first visit, but once you understand the flow it’s not bad. The atmosphere and scenery is very nice – kind of a “semi-romantic, business casual, yet comfortable-easy” setting (if that makes sense). The food was great! Lemon soup, lemon potato wedges, gyro, and Mediterranean salad were all on-point! No disappointments at all, and the price point was very reasonable. The staff was exceptionally courteous and polite and tended well to their customers. My only complaint (and this never ceases to amaze me – is the upcharge for a cup of water… Why?) It’s not a deal breaker, but it’s trivial and it devalues the customer – (That’s just my opinion.) Overall, well done! Yes, I will return.

As advertised, the atmosphere is beautiful! All seating is outside with a view of the lake. They have a nice variety of Greek dishes but you order at the counter. We were expecting a fabulous restaurant but employees told us that’s coming next year. The food was excellent. I got the Gyro which I have only had wrapped in foil. This had lots of meat and salad on it but it was slightly awkward trying to wrap it up myself. Anyway, it tasted wonderful. My wife ordered the Souvlaki Lunch. She said it tasted the way it should. We really enjoyed looking out over the lake and walking path. And it was interesting having our meals delivered by a robot. We noticed a few areas that could use improvement but the entire staff seemed attentive and focused. We can’t wait to try out the higher end restaurant.

First time at the new location. So much was spent to provide a less than pleasant experience. The beef lamb gyro meat, lettuce, tomatoes and Tzatziki sauce were tasty and good quality. Everything else fell short, the pita was very tough and chewy. Outside seating on a beautiful 70 degree still winter day was not my thing. A breeze would come by and blow everything off the table(s),napkins and wrappers. A fly kept visiting my food even with me waving it away while eating and landing on my food and drink. The large small text menu inside was placed down to the floor so everyone waiting couldn’t read it easily until you’re next in line. No paper or other menus available. It’s going to be in the 50s during the day next week, and soon in the 80s, 90s plus during the summer. I certainly have no intentions on coming back to outside dining here. Too bad they had a chance to do something special here, I would bet the designers have never lived in Florida before.

Tried out the new restaurant today. Beautiful and delicious! Decor is spot on and so was the music; perfect volume for dining! View is amazing! Just know all seating is outside, and you seat yourself wherever, which was nice! Expect at least $30 plus for 2 for lunch. P.S. Nice bathrooms, too!

The food was outstanding. Went there for lunch and decided to go back for dinner. The servers bring the food to you via pagers. You seat yourself after you order at the front.
They have both indoor and outdoor seating. It’s great as a family restaurant, fun as a group, or if you wanted to take a date.

We visited the new Olive Tree location today. You order at the counter first and they give you a buzzer. When you sit outside, place the buzzer on the marked spot on the table so they can bring your meal to you. Right now there’s only outdoor seating until the upstairs dining area opens next year. The food is as good as always. They even have a robot that brings your food to the table, and a member of the wait staff completes the delivery. Ger was incredibly helpful, very friendly, and deserves a shout-out for the great service.

So I know this establishment has been getting some rough reviews, but I just want to say based on my experience yesterday, which was Sunday, January 19 that the manager on duty was excellent. She went out of her way to provide special service for us for a small birthday party that I chose to have there everything was outstanding from the service to the accommodations to the presentation of the food. The server did a great job, not like at most restaurants where you have to wonder where your server went or asked for something every minute she was right there accommodating all of our needs. I felt like I was back eating 15 years ago when service was something to be proud ofThey did 100% better than any restaurant that I’ve been to in this area and I’ve lived here for 30 years. The view is beautiful. The establishment is beautiful and the food was fresh and delicious and didn’t taste Prepared days in advance big shout out to them. They have definitely become in my top three or four in Brevard County. Thank you.

For a counter order style place this was a great experience. You order up front and pay then a robot brings food out to your table! The staff helps ensure you are getting everything you need. Nice outdoor seating by a lake with options of covered and semi covered seating areas.

I’m Greek so my reviews of Greek restaurants is colored by years of homemade food. The outdoor atmosphere is very Mediterranean, the service was great and checked on our table a few times.
The Lamb plate was excellent, the lamb kabob was perfectly cooked and spiced. The lemon potatoes were good and the green beans with tomato, fasolada, was excellent. Serving size was a bit smaller, could’ve used 1 more piece of lamb and more beans but everything was tasty. I’m a local so I’ll be back.

My favorite restaurant in town now finally has the ambience to match its deliciously fresh food. The new setting feels almost like dining alfresco in Greece – light, relaxed and beautifully styled. An amazing step up for casual dining in Melbourne.
