Friday night date night. The alfredo sauce is delicious! Waiter was very attentive, the environment was clean, food looked good & well presented. Prices were fair, quick service. We’ll be back. I didn’t like the Marsala sauce that came on my pasta, but my first time trying it so not necessarily the restaurants fault.

We live in Houston, Texas and my wife and I I are so proud of our only child and she attends LSU in Baton Rouge, LA. When we go to visit her, which is at least once a month, we love stopping by this Olive Garden off of 6911 Siegen Lane. This past Saturday on October 25th, Myron Jones (Server), Jaime (manager) & Steve (bar tender) were so very helpful. Myron was spectacular. I mentioned to Myron that it was my daughter’s birthday month. Myron then brought out the Pumpkin cheesecake that my daughter ordered along w/ a few staff & they sang Happy Birthday to her. The “caramel on the cheesecake” instead of “icing on the cake” about this true story is that; Myron even put IRIS (HBB) on top of the cheesecake without being asked along w/ the singing. I’ll post a picture of the Pumpkin cheesecake. Talk about a thoughtful person. It’s employees like Myron Jones, who also has a very good voice, Jaime & Steve that will keep us coming in & I wanted to share this w/ others to let them know they’re missing out if they haven’t visited this location. The food all tasted really great and very fresh. Our waitress was one of the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant, constantly checking up on us, bringing more bread, refilling drinks, asking how the food is, Megan R was the waitress and she was wonderful.

I went yesterday. Everyone else’s food was good except mine. The waiter seemed agitated because of my special needs aunt I had taken to lunch. Everything she knocked over by accident, i picked up and apologized. She was never loud or caused a disturbance so i don’t really understand why he would have been like that. I apologized to him constantly and was never rude. So, I didn’t say anything about how terrible my food was. I ordered the 4 cheese manicottis. They only had sauce and mozzarella in the center of them. So most of it was hard like plastic and inedible. It also had a massive freezer burn taste. I only had 2 bites of it and my meal ended up being the breadsticks. I didn’t want to ask the waited to replace it because he just seemed so irritated. I was never offered soup or salad with me or my aunts meals. So, I honestly assumed that maybe it had changed that it came with an entree at first since I haven’t been in a couple of years. I also think working in the customer service industry, you shouldn’t be having attitude because your patrons have special needs. My aunt was literally upset at herself when we left for knocking stuff over (nothing was anything that spilled on the floor or had to be cleaned up by more than just me picking it up). I just really don’t think thats okay. It really broke my heart with how upset she was at herself especially since I hardly ever get to take her out in the first place. She picked Olive Garden and was so excited when we got there.

When you’re here, you truly are treated like family. The servers have began to recognize me. Some are cool, and some make jokes (Love it, keep it up). Its always fun, and service is always great. One of my previous servers, Margaret, was great and so attentive. Another server, Matthew was great! Very kind person, and was very honest. The hostess, Sam, is so kind and is such a girls girl! She offered to move me when I knew some people I was seated near. I hope everyone here has a lovely day every day <3
I will say, avoid having a bartender serve you/seating in the bar area, as they are bartenders first and foremost and may forget you.
