Since it’s a chain restaurant…you definitely have expectations upon entering. Not sure who does the ordering for this location but they were out of their signature Italian dressing. (Send someone to Sam’s Club…they sell it there). I got my salad and breadsticks in a timely manner but had to remind the waitress 20 minutes later that she hadn’t brought my drink. She had 3 tables right together, super odd, ALL of our main courses came out at the exact same time and she served last table seated first. Also – a little salty – she didn’t bring me any mints when I paid

The manager, severs, and bartender were very accommodating. We got our food quickly and it was delicious. We noticed our sangria pitcher didn’t make it to our table by the time we were finished eating. It was no problem. We understand that sometimes the bar gets backed up. When we cancelled the pitcher and paid our bill the manager, Sean, brought us a pitcher of the green apple moscato sangria on the house and apologized. Overall excellent experience and wonderful service.

Sunday 1PM place had a waiting line for big groups, but they had tables available for 2 right away. Very fast service, food was delicious. My husband got the Tour of Italy (lasagna, Alfredo pasta and parmegiana chicken) and I got a salad and salmon with broccoli.
The Alfredo pasta was delicious, lasagna was good, but a little too “heavy” for my taste, chicken was an average 7/10.
The salmon and pasta were cooked just right, 10/10. The salad was very good as well. Just side note: it comes with olives, peppers, a lot of croutons and the dressing is already on it. I didn’t know that, so next time I will make sure to ask without it.
The chocolate mints are so good.
Overall, 5 stars for the experience.

when i tell you i just had the most amazing experience at this Olive Garden, i don’t think you understand. Me and my best friend went out to eat tonight and was waited on by our amazing waitress Caydence (i know it started with Cay, so i’m sorry if i got your name wrong but she’s a STARgirl!) . she was so quick and friendly with our food/drinks and made sure we had what we needed at all times. she said it was her first night working again in 2 months and she did an absolutely amazing job, she was funny, charismatic, all while taking care of us and her tables around us. then towards the end of our night, the GM Sean came over and checked up on us. We simply asked for some boxes and he was on it. Not only did he come back with our boxes and boxes up our entrees for us, but he also brought us extra of our sides and salads AND drinks. after telling him how appreciative we were of this , and explaining how extra appreciative i was because im in my first pregnancy trimester and have been CRAVING Olive Garden, he also shared with us the love for his kids and job. I’ve been to many many restaurants from California, Florida, to Texas and Minneapolis fine dining, i will say i’ve never experienced such amazing service like i just did tonight at the Sioux City Olive Garden. Whatever they’re getting paid, it needs to be raised. these people go above and beyond and i’m still astounded that this is how we got treated tonight.

The food was great, but what really stood out was the exceptional customer service we received tonight. Sean, the GM, and our server, Cadence, went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of throughout the evening. I have dined at many restaurants, and have never encountered such genuine hospitality like tonight. Thank you both so much- your kindness made a lasting impression on us! We will definitely be back soon!

I have been here 3 times.. service has always been poor, they tend to forget and hide in the kitchen (not sure if this is the case, but no one was ever around.) The food hasn’t been good at this location compared to others. One time we asked for bread and they brought the bread without any of the salt/butter on top. When we asked if they could put the salt/butter, they returned the breadstick drenched in butter.. the food taste bland, and dry. (not enough sauce, etc.) at times our drinks were not refilled the entire time we were there, they asked if we wanted refills when we were done … The atmosphere was great! when the servers did help us, they were very polite and friendly!

Although the management was nice, the food was not. I hadn’t came here in a long time and was shocked at how few items the menu offered. The breadsticks tasted purely of salt. I ordered Ziti and my friend ordered chicken marsala and when we got it, it was cold. My pasta was overcooked, dry and it looked as if it had been sitting under a warmer for hours. I’ve had canned pasta that was better! My friends chicken was cold and dry, even with the sauce that was on it. Will not be returning.

We arrived shortly after 5 and was seated within 10 minutes. Both of us ordered wine, salad and shrimp scampi this evening. Waitress was friendly but distracted. Breadsticks were brought and the main entree arrived within 5-10 minutes of ordering. Our food sat on the fold out thing several minutes before our waitress came to give it to us.
We had yet to receive our wine or salad so requested both again. Our wine finally arrived when we had 1/4 of our entree left to eat. We again requested our salad and was told it was sitting right “over there”. Over 5 minutes later the salad arrived …after my entree was gone.
My husband was still finishing his salad and wine when the waitress asked if we were paying with a card….didn’t ask if we wanted dessert but did ask if we wanted the chocolates. ♀️

I have never in my 26 years been so happy with Olive Garden before I’m an avid Italian foodie and love Olive Garden. Carter H. was our server and he was I stg the best server I’ve ever had and I have high expectations. I loved the attentiveness and the energy and even his smile! And Mishaela our bartender was such a sweet woman who was also knowledgeable as all heck about yhe drinks she was making. Not to mention the manager Cody who took pride in his employees and made time to come talk to me so I could rave about their awesomeness ❤️❤️
I will definitely be going back afain because these three totally made my experience one of the best I’ve ever had and I just wanna say thank you, I had so much fun! And of course, the food was absolutely amazingly delicious

My server was good. But I watched a guy who had blue jeans on serve others and he was GREAT. I wish he would have been my server. He made sure his people were taken care of. I complimented him when I left. That guy needs a raise. And he should be training all the ones that work there how to be accommodating to people.
