My husband and I are from Louisiana, and are visiting Panama City, Fl. We stopped at Olive Garden to place a takeout order. We walked in and straight ahead to the hostess stand. There were four ladies standing at the stand who welcomed us. I stated we were placing a to go order and can we see a menu? We took about 5 minutes to go over the menu, walked to the hostess stand to place our order and all the ladies immediately walked off and went separate ways. (Very Rude)
One of the ladies came back to the stand and she was speaking to us but I couldn’t understand what she had said because of the noise coming from the restaurant. I started to place my order and she immediately said Oh’ I can’t take your order. Someone will be right with you. We waited another 2 minutes and a guy (Carhop), named Jaxon was wearing a safety vest walked up and asked Can I take your order? I politely placed my order and my husband placed his order. We waited again and finally Jaxon arrived with our order neatly placed in the brown paper bag. The food was very hot. Which was great because we had almost a thirty minute drive back to our hotel. When we arrived at our hotel we began to separate our meals to eat. My husband had the Lasagna Classico, with a side of Minestrone soup. The Lasagna was great and the soup was excellent, full of flavor and vegetables. I had the stuffed Chicken Marsala with mushrooms and a side of Mashed Potatoes which was really good. The chicken breast was real tender and the mashed potatoes and mushroom sauce was full of flavor. I also had a large Garden salad but I wasn’t asked what type of salad dressing would I like. (Every time I eat out at Olive Garden, I’m asked what type of dressing would I like.) There was Italian dressing placed inside of the Garden salad. The Italian dressing is packaged in a separate cup but it shouldn’t have been placed inside with my salad. (Unsanitary)
We also had four breadsticks and no marinara sauce. I also ordered a slice of the Strawberry Sicilian Cheesecake. The cheesecake tasted like it had been around for a while. It was okay but It didn’t taste fresh. The strawberry sauce was watered down and rolled right to the bottom of the tray, but the strawberries tasted good. We received a bag of condiments, utensils, mints, and packs of cheese. Overall the food was very delicious. But the customer service needs improvement. We will come back and visit again. We love Panama City.
Tip #1 Anyone sitting at a hostess stand should be able to take an order. Cross training is necessary.
Tip #2 No employee should ever walk away from a customer that just walked through the front door. When the employee turned their back, the customer may turn their back. You just lost a customer. Never make a customer feel unwanted.

We had an absolutely incredible dining experience at Olive Garden! The Chicken Parmesan was crispy and flavorful, and the Chicken Alfredo was rich, creamy, and cooked to perfection — both dishes were absolutely delicious!
What truly made our visit unforgettable was our server, Lukas. Hands down, the best server we have ever had. He was attentive, kind, and made us feel genuinely welcome from start to finish. Lukas went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and it absolutely was.
If you’re looking for great food and even better service, this is the Olive Garden to visit. Lukas deserves a raise and a round of applause!

My husband and I haven’t been to olive garden in over 2 yrs but decided to stop in for lunch. I ordered lasagna and my hubby got shrimp Alfredo. We both enjoyed our food and a shout out to Zack our server whom by far was one of the friendliest servers we have had in awhile. He was very attentive and had a great outgoing personality..

We have been coming to this particular restaurant for over five years. The food and service are generally very good. The lunch and dinner prices are very reasonable. The servers have lately really been on the ball and are providing excellent, quick, and efficient service. Our family’s only complained is that many of the booths are small and tight for four people. Give this restaurant a try!

This is one of our (my wife and I) favorite restaurants and for years I’ve told people they have the best calamari… until now. I’m not sure but think they have changed suppliers. The first plate was so rubbery you could barely chew it. Our server did offer to remake the plate and you could tell it was cooked less, but still like a rubber band. I could have complained and I’m sure they would have removed from my bill, but I always feel like they’ll think I’m complaining just so I don’t have to pay for it. So we just pushed the plate off to the side and left it.
The broccoli on my margarita chicken was very mushy too (think frozen broccoli tossed in the microwave too long and you can visualize it). Again, new supplier?? I’m not sure, but just not up to par with our Olive Garden at home.
The rest of the food was great. My chicken was cooked perfectly and very tasty. My wife said her chicken and shrimp carbonara tasted different than at home, but still good. My mother’s chicken Alfredo was also very good.
