Visited recently and had a decent experience overall. The salad and breadsticks were fresh and enjoyable, and the atmosphere was comfortable and family-friendly. However, the mushroom creamy rotini pasta I ordered tasted quite bland and wasn’t as creamy as expected, which was a bit disappointing.
The service was okay — staff were polite but nothing exceptional — so I’m giving service 3 stars. Overall, an average experience that could be improved with better flavor and consistency in the pasta dishes.

We don’t go out to eat often, however, the past 2 times we have, we’ve been met with poor service, mediocre food and high bills… until today. Today we chose to eat at Olive Garden in Gainsville, GA and we were blown away. The food was excellet tasting, served quickly (despite bring a busy Sunday rush) and perfect temperature. But the best part of our Anniversary lunch date was HANDS DOWN, the service! Julissa offered THE best service we’ve had in years! She was attentive, caring and her smile never left her face. Although we could clearly see she had several tables she was tending, we felt we were her only table. Looking around, every waiter or waitress seemed to be just as attentive as her. The team worked together so well, accommodating for larger parties or smaller, just fine. Whatever this Olive Garden is doing they’re doing it right. We will ABSOLUTELY be back!

Very bad service from Alex – no bussing, no refills.. almost seemed sick. He was sweating a lot poor thing but we came to enjoy a little night out with grandma and it was not great. We were charged extra for shrimp that should’ve come with our meal and just were not paid attention to. Look at the pics how we had to eat surrounded by plates and even dessert. This place is not super cheap …..

As I have dinned in, at this resturant several times in the past, I had the option of take out for tonight’s dinner. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo. From their menu “Creamy alfredo sauce made from scratch with ingredients like parmesan, cream, garlic and butter, served with fettuccine pasta and topped with sliced grilled chicken.” and it hit’s the spot!!
A large serving for the heartist of appitites. Very fresh and flavorful, with a large side of salad and some breadstickes, it does make a fine meal.
I know, take out doesn’t photo real good but what’s in the box, is what counts.

We ate here today and we were so impressed. Calvin was our server and he went above and beyond. He was kind, attentive, and so accommodating. We had everything we needed and more. I don’t remember the last time we had a server that enjoyable. The food was better than I remember but it could just be that Calvin set the stage for such a pleasant experience. We will be back soon.

It’s been several years since we been here because of bad service. Thought since today’s my birthday we would try it again since I love Olive Garden and it’s been awhile surely it wouldn’t still be bad. For the most part service was good but getting a full bill when I only ate 2 bites, and Phil only ate 1/3 of his food is ridiculous.
First off the water was nasty, the lemons were brown in it. After taking a swallow, I remembered seeing people complain about Gainesville’s water so no sweat. Ordered sodas even though I only took a few sips since I didn’t drink soda often. That was $3.99 in the trash.
The chicken gnocchi was delicious. Had 2 bowls thank goodness because the chicken scampi tasted like someone poured vinegar in it. Took 2 bites complained and was given the check. Phil had the Tour of Italy, the chicken was cooked so hard, he couldn’t even cut it. Needless to say $60 poorer and had to stop on the way home to get something to eat.
Normally I would demand a manager but Phil felt so bad cause it was my birthday, we just paid and left.
We definitely won’t be going back there.
But I do want to add, if the water is that bad and it effects the taste of the food served, I as a business owner would be suing Gainesville for how it affects my business but that scampi had nothing to do with the water.

Went for dinner 10/28/25 ordered steak med well. The photo was the result. I am not one to return food but am one not to return as a customer. Service was virtually non existent.

Hey so I really don’t like to do this but last night me and my family went to eat, and we were attended by Amber.w was our waiter. She did not give us no refills after words I got the unlimited soup, salad, and breadsticks I had to ask. For my breadsticks and one of my soups was water down she never came back to see if I needed anything else very rude behavior from her part

The hostesses, Allie and Hope, greeted us with a very welcoming and delightful attitude. They made accommodations for our party of 5, which included a person with a walker. The manager also showed us a convenient place to store the walker. Great customer service!

The server was super nice, friendly and with great dusty service. The food was like always “delicious” the Moscato I had was fabulous and overall it was a nice place to enjoy a meal in family.
