Visited the new Olive Garden in Morganton. Olive Garden is Awesome as always! It was busy on opening day of course, but we really didn’t wait that long for a party of 6, 30 minutes or so if that. We ordered the Tour of Italy x3, endless soup and salad x2 and Classic lasagna. Everyone was so nice and did a wonderful job. Beautiful building inside and out. Still learning and training great job guys, we will be back!

After waiting 30 minutes after my pick up time for my food, they hand me a bag with half of my food missing. They finally give me the missing items and I go home. I eat my salad then move on to my chicken scampi. My scampi has NO sauce what so ever. Even after giving a note for extra sauce. I literally was just eating plain noodles. This location will never have my business again. Atleast not for a while. All my husband & I wanted was to treat ourselves to a nice at home Olive Garden Valentine’s Day meal with our children. Very disappointed.

I had such a great experience at the Olive Garden in Morganton, NC, thanks to Catherine. From the moment she greeted our table, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. She checked in often without ever feeling intrusive, kept our drinks full, and made sure everything came out just the way we wanted. Her recommendations were spot on, and she made us feel completely taken care of the whole time.
It’s rare to find someone who balances professionalism with such a positive, upbeat attitude, but Catherine absolutely nails it. If you’re visiting this Olive Garden, definitely ask for her you’ll be glad you did!

Our service was excellent as was our food. Maria P. Was our waitress and she was phenomenal! She made sure all of our “special” needs were met and everyone enjoyed their meal to the fullest! We have several people in our group who have literal special needs and she saw to it that they had an enjoyable time and had food to eat just like everyone else. My daughter doesn’t like going other places because she is so picky and people are aggravated with her, but Maria was so kind and made sure she had something she enjoyed as well. We were so blessed. The food was fresh and hot. Our drinks stayed full and our bellies were happy. Thank you so much for a great meal with my great friends. We will be back!

I just wanted to take a minute to thank your staff specifically Kayden who brought out our order and the chefs that made our lunch because it was excellent! I told Kayden I never have good luck when it comes to ordering/picking up food because something is always forgotten or the order itself is wrong or may not even taste well, and she assured me everything was in there and she was right! I know this is something that you should be able to expect, but nowadays it’s very rare that you have this experience which is why I wanted to take a minute to thank you all and to let you know that we will continue to order our meals from you all and will spread the good word both to my friends and colleagues and on all of the appropriate websites that ask for reviews It’s my birthday tomorrow and this was the perfect birthday lunch for my husband and I since we will be working a long day and won’t have the opportunity to celebrate it tomorrow….so thank you again for making my birthday meal special! Met my family at Olive Garden in Morganton NC on Saturday Feb. 7th. The atmosphere was good and waited for 25 minutes for a table for 5. The food was good. The bread is better than it used to be. The salad was good as always. Long story short, all 4 of my family got their food while I waited on mine. The waiter came back and saw I didn’t have any food and he went to investigate. He came back a said someone else had my food and the cooks were making mine now. He gave me a free dessert for the trouble. Needless to say my food finally came and it was good and I had a free dessert. Give Olive Garden a try they have improved their menu. Plus now you can get sauces for your bread sticks at no extra cost.

We must have lucked out when we went a couple of Fridays ago. Even though it was about 8-ish we sat down in under 30 minutes. Our waitress took our drink order quickly. My wife ordered soup and salad and I had shrimp scampi pasta. Except for the small shrimp, it was very good. The waitress kept the soup, salad and breadsticks coming to our table. The breadsticks were the best I’ve ever had at any Olive Garden: lightly crispy on the outside and warm and very soft on the inside. I ordered a mixed drink and it was made correctly and tasted good. We ordered dessert and it was slow coming out, but not terribly so, so the waitress removed it from our bill. It really didn’t matter because my wife and I were enjoying each other’s company and we hardly noticed it was slow. I feel really fortunate that we had such a good experience. Judging by the many less than ideal reviews I’m almost afraid to tempt fate by going back and risk having a bad experience.

We had a very frustrating experience at the Olive Garden in Morganton, North Carolina. From the start, service was extremely slow and poorly managed. We waited over 20 minutes just to receive service at the bar, which set the tone for the rest of the evening.
After finally placing our order, it took more than an hour for our main entrées to arrive, which is unacceptable for a casual chain restaurant. During this long wait, service never improved. Drinks were not refilled, and no one checked in to see if we needed anything.
What made it worse is that Olive Garden is known for its soup, salad, and breadsticks, yet we were never asked if we wanted refills on any of them. Basic attentiveness was completely missing.
Overall, the experience felt rushed in some areas and completely neglected in others. When you go to a restaurant like Olive Garden, you expect consistent service and reasonable timing. Unfortunately, this location failed to deliver on both. We left disappointed and would hesitate to return.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. We entered a half empty restaurant today and were sat immediately. That is the positive. The negative may be my family’s fault for asking for a booth due to us having a 3 year old. Several available in sight but we are told no. That’s fine, but I’m guessing that upset someone. We sat for 20 minutes without being spoke to after being told we had to sit in this section. We pressed the call for server button twice. Once ignored and the other, a worker came by and said you don’t have drinks and walked away. Another 5 minutes pass so we order our drinks ourselves using the tablet. Another 5 minutes pass and we leave without anyone saying a thing. 30 plus minutes being ignored with a very noisy 3 year old in a half empty restaurant. Maybe an accident, maybe not.

Sadly an awful experience. First negative review, I’ve ever done especially because I own a restaurant. We showed up yesterday with a party of 8 nicely dressed ready to celebrate a birthday. We waited for 50 minutes for a table meanwhile new parties, we’re being seated. After 50 minutes we asked host in a sweat shirt and vest (badly dressed) how much longer because our kids were starving at this point. She laughed at my husband and said that our booth was preoccupied still by picky individuals. Not a nice way to speak about your guest. I asked her if there was any way she could put two tables together for us. She said “no” they don’t do that. I don’t know a restaurant that doesn’t, until now. Finally they walked us to our table and as I walked there, several tables were open and of course having experience with seating floor plans, I can say there was absolutely NO effort. The Manager was useless and borderline unprofessional. My husband expressed concern and explained our experience. She behaved passive and dismissive. Then we waited another 35 minutes for breadsticks, salad, and flat soda. Our server was sweet however and did provide good service, she was the only redeeming experience. When leaving the two poorly dressed hostess just laughed and snickered to themselves. I know it’s hard to find good restaurant staff in Morganton, but this was a unprofessional experience. The food however was good so at least the boh talent is up to par. I feel gross writing a bad review but they need to know so they can fix there issues with service.
