My wedding soup was like so much spinach? Idk if she just didn’t stir the pot but I was pretty baffled.
When it came time to pay she didn’t ask anything like “cash or card?”..no she just silently grabbed the screen and fiddled with it till it was on the pay screen??? I’ve never had a waitress so blatantly just ignore customers. It was my boyfriend’s BIRTHDAY dinner too!!!!! Worst restaurant experience. Put a sign on her head “don’t tip me!” Next time!
I quite truly believe it’s because I am younger (in my twenties). I saw a table nearby of an “older” (middle aged) group who she definitely was waiting on hand and foot, constantly over there with her back always to us. I have never been so annoyed with a waitress, I work in customer service I know it can be hell, but we did NOTHING to warrant that treatment. If you pick and choose who you think deserves better service, well guess what lady, you aren’t cut out for it.
The food was fine besides the overly spinached soup. Typical Olive Garden.
It’s obvious there’s strong leadership here because the little things (refills before we’re empty, checking on tables without hovering, keeping the salad crisp) all add up to a great experience every single time. Keep doing what you’re doing; your hard work shows, and it keeps us coming back. Great job!
1. I had ordered the wedding soup and when I eventually got it, it was like 75% broth and 25% noodles. I managed to finish my soup in like 3 or 4 bites. When I told our server about it, he told me they were out of soup and making a fresh batch which is what he should have said from the start instead of just handing me a bowl of broth. He told me he would get me a new bowl of soup, which I still never got.
2. My dad and I got unsweetened iced teas. When our server got us refills, he gave us raspberry teas. When my mom told him about the mistake, his response was ‘we don’t have raspberry tea. We have unsweetened and peach.” My mom knows this was bs because she worked for OG before. He eventually gave us our right teas, but the fact that he denied it instead of just getting us new teas was unacceptable.
3. This one is minor but when he gave us our soup and salad, he didn’t offer us any cheese with our food. It wasn’t until he brought out our main courses that he eventually did.
I don’t normally post reviews, especially bad ones, but this night was the strangest we have had at this location. Either these servers need better training or they need to find better servers period.
-took too long to get drinks
-waitress seemed stressed and overworked
-food was burnt and tasted as such
-took 20min to get breadsticks and salad
-I never ended up getting a drink redill
One of the best, if not the best waiters in any restaurant I/we have ever dined at. From casual to fine dining, he was marvelous!
I think that is why our food tasted better than usual too. Lol!
Gave a huge compliment to his manager in person so he sees how excited we were to praise someone who really deserved to be.
Endless breadsticks are hot, garlicky perfection, and the house salad with that zesty dressing is addictive. Tour of Italy gives you lasagna, chicken parm, and fettuccine Alfredo on one plate—huge portions, all delicious. Service is warm, fast, and genuinely friendly.
It’s cozy, affordable Italian comfort food done right. When you want hearty classics and unlimited breadsticks without any fuss, this is the spot. Still one of our favorites—already craving the next visit!
