Olive garden is one of my favorite restaurants. Every time I am in New Jersey I like to stop in and have a meal here. From there minestrone soup, salad breadsticks and the super delicious chicken & shrimp carbonara bringing all together.

Our server Lisa was excellent! She was attentive and thoughtful, swift but unobtrusive. My young children actually commented on how wonderful she was and they had new toys occupying them! Food was cooked well, eggplant parm was masterful, my daughter loved the meatballs which is not common, just would have preferred a more flavorful sauce. Clean and bright atmosphere. Would absolutely recommend.

We recently celebrated my daughter’s birthday here with a huge group of 23 people, and I cannot say enough good things about how the Rockaway team handled it. We had a reservation for 7 PM and arrived a bit early, but the staff tried their absolute best to get us settled. They used some serious creativity to fit us all into the available space, setting us up at two tables right across from each other so we could still feel like one big group while they accommodated other guests.
Once seated, our servers, Maria and Randy, were outstanding. Dealing with a party our size is difficult enough, but they worked closely with my wife and cousin to navigate specific dietary requirements. They made sure every customized order was correct and served promptly—nothing was missed. It turned a potentially stressful logistics challenge into a wonderful family evening. Highly recommend this location for their patience and excellent service!

The food at Olive Garden was amazing! Our server, Chris, was very polite, attentive, and on top of everything throughout our meal. Mike, the manager, was alert, kind, and genuinely made sure we were comfortable. He even went out of his way to bring us very fresh breadsticks, which we truly appreciated. Overall, this is a great establishment with excellent service and food. We will definitely be back!

Staff was rude. No refills were offered the entire time. Staff was competing for tables and each other instead of helping the customers they were serving. Staff has no idea what is going on and tried to get me to pay for someone else’s meal at a completely different table. Food was amazing as always. But worst experience with staff we have ever had and will not be returning to rockaway location.

Every time I post this review on this Olive Garden the post says “still pending”. It’s been days now that it won’t go through so I guess I can’t leave a fair review and say what u want to say about the place. Issues like this with Google have always been a problem and after all the reviews I’ve made this might be the last one for me. There’s no reason to run into this many issues posting reviews.
