Bad service took a long time to greet and serve drink no refill. Food presentation very poor no cheese was offered on salad and soup. The restaurant was nearly empty so there’s no excuse for poor service.

Olive Garden is my granddaughters favorite birthday restaurant and we go every year for her birthday and for several other occasions as well. The decor and ambiance is so nice and family style plus the food is absolutely delicious! I especially love the taste of the marinara sauce it’s so different than an average Italian restaurant I could drink it like it’s a soup! The employees are very nice and kind and easy to talk with. As I said the feeling of having lunch or dinner there is very homey and comfortable and the decorations and fireplaces makes it extra warm a cozy to make you come back over and over. 5 Stars!!!

Our waiter was great and the food didn’t take that long to come out. There was no wait time to get seated . We ordered soup and salad which was delicious along with the Chicken Parm. I also had cappuccino which was really amazing .

Food was good but terrible service made us not want to go back. We went on a Wednesday night. We arrived by 8:50 and they close at 10 so there was plenty of time. The place was 30% full and we were told there’s a 30 minute wait. Were seated after 20 minutes but service was terribly slow and bad. We had to keep going up to the service area and ask someone to find our server and send him over. Even then there was an average 15 minute wait time each time we asked for our server. The forks provided at the table were dirty. All of them. We asked for a change, the food arrived but no forks. Another 15 minute wait while the food got cold. The place was near empty so not sure what was keeping them. Bad experience. Will likely not go back here. Will find another place near us.

I haven’t been to Olive Garden in a long time but we used them to cater for Teacher’s Appreciation Luncheon and they really went above and beyond. The staff got there early to cook so we could get the food on time, they packed it up so nicely and provided everything we needed and were just so awesome to work with. I didn’t get to eat the food but it smelled great and everyone said it was delicious.

Judging by some of the reviews, this can be hit or miss. I can say that it was a hit for us. The service and food was excellent. Pasta was exactly how I like it, the meat sauce was tasty and Meatballs were great. Always love when you get a drink refill without having to ask for it. I am usually not a chain restaurant fan, but this place came through with flying colors. I will definitely go back again soon. Great Job Olive Garden Rockaway.
