2/13/2026 Victoria was very pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed our dinner before our Pink Martini concert at Boettcher Hall. The men were pleasant and courteous. A red head had zero personality when delivering our latte drink. Please help her adjust w/ Emotional intelligence training.
We appreciate Victoria!!
Thank you,
Rup & Roberta

Didn’t sit at the patio this time but I love O&F’s patio. This location has a bar which is nice. The Lyon – which is salmon w caviar on potato cake tasted great for a few bites. The potato cake was bit too heavy, it would have been better as bread. Others is great. The O&F burger was nothing special, good but not uniquely good or different than other burgers. Lastly, the Kofta sauce was rly well done, but the meat was a bit dry – maybe overcooked. Great meal at Olive and Finches new theater district location.

We went early on a Saturday evening before an event at Ellie Caulkins since it’s about as close and convenient as it gets. The place was lively but not packed and we got a proper greeting at the entrance inviting us to sit at a table and order from the QR code, so we did. I’m actually a fan of the QR code ordering.
Their beer prices are very reasonable and the selection was limited but acceptable. The water was in a dispenser nearby for self-serve. I ordered the OF burger, and it was fairly decent. I enjoyed the chimichurri and fried onions on the burger–they gave it a nice little kick. The patty was very thin, however.
My gluten-free companion ordered the grilled artichoke starter and the Goddess salad with seared tuna. Both were very disappointing.
The artichoke and the dip that came with it had good flavor, but the artichoke did not seem that fresh and barely had any “meat” on the leaves. The Goddess salad desperately needs to be clarified on the menu. It’s a plate of cucumber chunks with a few thin slices of radish, mint leaves, and some capers. The avocado that they mention is supposedly actually mixed into the dressing. The seared tuna did not appear or taste fresh. It was somehow fairly dry, like it had been prepared earlier and sitting for awhile. We were expecting a salad, like with lettuce or mixed greens. When we complained to a server, he was just like “oh the cashier usually lets people know” but we ordered from the QR code at the table, like they suggested.
The place wasn’t bad, but that cucumber salad is a miss. Even someone at the table next to us complained about it. It would make a great small side, but as a menu item it’s 0/5 trash.
We had some time left and so I ordered another beer and an apple pie spiced chai latte for my friend, and a double chocolate chip cookie. She reported that the apple pie chai latte was great. I had to ask someone to bring me the cookie after about 15 minutes. Then, it didn’t explicitly mention anything about being gluten free on the label so my partner did not trust it anymore. I thought it was OK, but maybe a little stale.
Oh, and be sure to notice that (as of this writing) there is a 7.5% “Equitable Service Charge” added onto the bill that we were not aware of until payment. Note that someone responded to another review about this saying that you can request that it is removed. However, they push you to order through the QR code where you have no such option on ToastTab. It wasn’t worth arguing over, though. We just left no tip. If the restaurant wants to lie about their prices by tacking on hidden fees at the end, then I’ll leave it up to them to pay their servers, as well.
Overall it was just a poor experience. I wouldn’t go back to this place.

This joint opened this week 1 block away and I’ve already been three times—breakfast, lunch, and dinner. At this rate I’ll be fat and broke by Memorial Day.
For breakfast I had the Eggs Benedict Caprese (tomato+mozz) w/ a balsamic drizzle. So tasty. A nice twist on a classic. Ate it too fast to get a pic.
Lunch was an onion soup starter (the sherry shines through 🙂 and a half-salad with turkey and veggies. I loved the dressing; the turkey was so cold that it was tough. Let this one rest a bit before diving in. The onion soup is addictive. $31.46 total
Dinner was a grilled artichoke starter and then a chicken entree large enough for two people. Artichoke is something I never cook at home so it was nice to have some without going to a fancy restaurant. Tasty dip. The chicken was delicious with a tangy broth and a hint of basil + mint (a trick I’ll be stealing for my home cooking 😉 Took home half of it. They could dim the lights a bit at night for atmosphere. $58.76 total including 1 cocktail
The place can get a little spendy when you add in the tax and tip and their whopping 7.5% mandatory junk fee. It feels expensive when you consider that you order at the counter and there’s no wait staff but I justify it as an easy way to access inventive fine-dining meals without going to a fancy sit down restaurant.

My husband and I had apps on the patio after going to Buelle Theatre. We ordered the smoked salmon/capers/dill app (blanking on the name) and the Mediterranean charcuterie board. Both we were delicious and tasted very fresh! The patio atmosphere was perfect and the staff were exceptional! Although we ordered and paid via a QR code, the staff was still attentive and involved in our experience!

Came here with a friend and her adult children before a show at Dazzle. I got the Thai curry with tofu. It was a small portion and had a weird aftertaste. And it was served room temperature. My friend and her kids all got sandwiches and complained that they weren’t served hot either and were bland. The consensus was the potato chips and pickles were the best thing.
Get your own water and ordering with a QR code, no follow-up from anyone on how your food is make for a lackluster experience. Furthermore, the 7.5% equitable pay service charge is a scam. I bartend downtown, and I work in an establishment that doesn’t charge this ludicrous fee. I make server minimum wage, but by taking care of my customers and providing them with quality food and drink, I make a good living. When you provide quality food, people spend more and come back again, providing enough income to the establishment to pay their BOH employees fairly, too.
Won’t be back.

Had a nice quick dinner before a show at the DCPA. All of the employees were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. It was slow since it was a Thursday night and not too many things were playing at the arts complex. I’m guessing this place fills up quick on nights when everything is playing. Nonetheless, we had a good meal. The Ankara sandwich was good but lacking in flavor. It needs either a sweet element like a chutney spread or something citrusy to amp up the flavor. The Cubano was very good. They offer a “media mojo” option that gives you a small dish of the mojo marinade to dip in. It makes it like a Cubano meets French Dip situation and I think it was worth the upgrade. The pork in the Cubano was excellent. We finished with a limoncello cake for dessert and it was light and citrusy and a perfect way to end a summer evening. Check this place out if you’re going to a show at the DCPA.

Very underwhelming and over priced, do not recommend! My friend and I stopped in for lunch after viewing an exhibit at the Performing Arts . Was just a chaotic experience upon entering , quickly being told to order at the counter or find a seat. Very limited seating indoors, just felt cramped and the couple of open spots had not been cleared yet, so we opted to eat on the patio. Ordering using a QR code was simple enough though the fair majority of drink choices were marked as unavailable. Once placing your order is when you learn at check out there is a 7.5% Equitable Pay Surcharge and also required to leave a tip before even knowing how your service or food will be. Just all seems like a hustle and feel the restaurant should be paying fair wages instead of leaving that up to customers. The chaos continued as food was brought out staggered by 4 different servers. Dirty glasses were placed on our tables and we were told to serve ourselves if we wanted water. First one dessert was brought out, then our meals, had to ask twice about our missing drinks and other desert, then when drinks were brought had to ask yet again about the other missing dessert. While it took 4 servers to bring out our food not one of them ever came and checked on us at any point during our meal, had to chase someone down to ask for to-go boxes. The food was very bland, the French onion soup was literally the au jus with a stale piece of bread and covered in cheese. The crognet, which they’re apparently known for, was stale and nothing remarkable about it. I did not intend to write such a lengthy review, but I also didn’t intend to spend just under $100 for 2 for lunch and be so disappointed.

Went here for dinner before a show and ordered the bucatini and added parmesan chicken. The chicken showed up literally fried to a black crisp. I asked if I could please send it back and have the chicken replaced because it was obviously overcooked. A manager (a man with a ponytail in a bun) came back and said that’s the way it is seasoned and gave it back to me. I very rarely send food back but I have never had someone bring back the plate and tell me to eat it instead. I tried to eat the chicken but it was literally inedible – it was black, charred chicken. My mother and I split two entrees – the picture is her portion of the burnt chicken (I gave her the less burnt side). The manager picked up the plate of what I cut off my burnt chicken and never said a word – no sorry, no how can we make this right, no nothing. Don’t waste your time with a place that obviously doesn’t value customers or service.
