This a little complex of a situation and review. I’m going to tell everything they did right first, because they did a lot right.
The atmosphere is on point, beautifully and tastefully decorated.
The merchandise is also tasteful and I LOVED their merch to go cup with a lid. It was one of the prettiest ones I’ve seen.
The beans were very reasonably priced, as most in NWA are much higher per bag.
The staff was friendly and welcoming, understanding that this was our first visit and we needed to peruse the menu.
The menu choices were abundant with very sophisticated menu pairings.
Pretty standard prices on everything with a good selection of pastries and toasts.
The confusing part:
We ordered three different drinks; 1 hot Mexican mocha, 1 iced creme brulee latte, 1 hot winter spice, and 1 pear and honey bagel.
None of the coffees had any coffee flavor at all. Like, not even a hint in ANY of them. We were all so confused wondering if they had forgotten to put the shots in our coffees?? But the coloring showed it had coffee. And the bagel we ordered came completely cold and untoasted.
After I posted this review the owner gave a heartfelt and gracious reply which makes me believe this was a one-off, and we should be able to taste the coffee if we decide to visit the establishment again. And I really appreciate that.

The new Olive Coffee Company in Alma is WOW! The space is clean, bright, and beautifully decorated for the holidays. Same great taste we’ve received since their beginning days right here in Alma! Their team is growing so much and their new hires are friendly and quick with it! I ordered off the Winter Menu today – Sugar Cookie Latte! It is super good, however I think the Christmas Tree White Mocha remains my favorite. The location is in an area that has a lot of new development. I’m so excited to see how the area will improve over the next year or so! Thank you, Olive Coffee Company!

Such a great coffee place! From the friendliness of staff, taste and selection of coffee(PS THEY HAVE OAT MILK), and the atmosphere with card games, picnic tables, and corn hole. We had so much fun waiting for our drinks! My only suggestion is to figure out how to have your shop pop up when you google “coffee shops in Alma” I am visiting town and was looking for a place with no luck until I drove by and saw the truck later in the day. Such a great addition to Alma!

I’m SO thankful for this little coffee shop! Let me tell you why you need to skip the Starbucks & come to this place. I first visited on a Saturday & it was busy – lots of people in & out. I went back the next week to stop in again & they remembered me PLUS remembered my order. Also, their avocado toast is the best I’ve ever had & I’ve had a lot of avocado toast! I’ll be back again & again! 🙂
