The pub recently reopened under new ownership and was recently totally redone so it’s very clean and fresh inside. Harrison is the owners son and he waited on us 4 Girls and was very friendly and the service was wonderful. The Cook eventually came out to our table and brought us a complementary sample of broiled fish with their famous sauce on it. We ordered the battered shrimp and wings, which were phenomenal. Ordered them crispy and they came out perfect. The hand cut french fries were delicious as well.

The wife and I decided to come here after she got out of work. It’s a really nice place. Good atmosphere. The bartenders are great and the food is awsome I had the Philly steak sub and my wife got a cheeseburger. We will definitely be back 10 out of 10

When I first discovered this quaint little Irish pub, I settled in for a a few pints and what I discovered to be some of the best wings I’ve ever had. We met the owners Son Jamie during my first time here, who was very passionate about what he did and proud of the delicious food Ole Hickory served. Jamie had is own special wing sauce he called the Blaney sauce, which was dynamite!
I was sad to learn the following year that he has passed away unexpectedly. I’m glad Jamie’s legacy and signature sauce continued for years to come through his dad Gary. Even though I was several hundred miles away from home when visiting this pub, I always felt like a local and quickly settled in.
I’ve recently learned Gary has retired, but I trust with the same drive and passion that Gary had and of course Jamie’s famous sauce, this place will continue to be a favourite yearly stop for me for years to come. Sláinte!
