Great small town bbq spot. The pulled pork was a little on the dry side. Spare rib was perfectly seasoned and bark was spot-on. Service was exceptionally great. Front and back of the house were outstanding. Lady at the register helped guide us through the menu and we enjoyed how attentive she was toward the needs of our daughter. Come get you some. You will come in happy and leave ready for a bbq induced nap.

We ate here for the first time today and we were very impressed and will be back again. The food was great, flavorful and cooked just right. We had the ribs, brisket, pulled pork and a pulled chicken sandwich and they were all really good. Their sauces are also great. We tried the strawberry cake and banana pudding and both were a hit. The service was very friendly, helpful and quick as well and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend trying them out

Ordered food and brought it home, completely wrong food. Call they want the food back which is fine, hopefully to throw away. Get our food home, fries are cold. Skinny little fries, different from every other time we have orderedthere. . The burger is also cold and terrible. Banana pudding was their remedy. All I want is hot fries and a hot burger. Situation was handled terribly.

This place was so much fun! I knew it would be when I saw a weighted bag and pulley system rigged to return the front door to shut. Smiles were plentiful from the staff and the decor was vibrant. There was an energy that was palpable. The sides were excellent and the meat was good but needed sauce, of which they had more than a few varieties. The real star is the desserts! We tried four different ones and were so excited about it that I failed to take pictures. The coconut pie is the best I’ve ever had. The pecan and peanut butter chocolate chip were also amazing, as was the banana pudding. Each dessert we had was baked, rich, and loaded with flavor. Do not leave without getting dessert, even if that means getting a smaller meal. They’re delicious!

I have eaten at Ole Hickory several times, and I have always had a wonderful experience. Recently, they catered my wedding, and I am so glad they did! The food was exceptional, service was great, and they helped make the planning process easy! I would recommend for any event or just stopping in for a meal!

Had the pulled pork platter on Wednesday and it was so good, my wife and I went back today (Thursday) and tried the smoked turkey. Sides of baked beans, potato salad, Cole slaw, and added fried okra. For afters, the pecan pie was spectacular, not too sweet, just right.

Incredible!! Seriously – as good as it gets! THE BEST chili cheese dog this side of Dog River, Saskatchewan!!* The Ribs and Wings were as good as any I’ve had anywhere! The fries and potato salad could not have been better! The service was prompt, kind and friendly. The place was spotless and comfortable. I wish I could tell you about everything on their menu – but we barely could eat all they served us. We WILL BE BACK!

Ole hickory is one of those places that warms your heart when you eat it! They served our wedding and we enjoyed every bite of the meal that was provided. Denise is wonderful and easy to work with! I suggest everyone to try out ole hickory for catering or even dinner one night 🙂
